His apartment was actually above a resturant that he often performed at. As he didn't exactly have someone stable to sleep, the owner allowed him to use the apartment above the resturant; which he accepted rather gleefully. A pretty mediocre place, it had three room; a bedroom, bathroom and a rather large main room which held the kitchen and tv.
Opening the door, he sort of awkwardly held out his hand and gave a typical welcoming style hand motion. "Welcome to the palace." He allowed the girl whom he had met previously enter the apartment.

Jordan's face was still red, and tear tracks ran through the dirt covering her face. She wasn't shaking anymore though, and smiled at Ben shyly as she entered the apartment. The battered mutant girl couldn't care less what it looked like. It was safe, she was safe. "Thanks."
She walked in, hand stuffed in her pockets again. It had started raining, she could hear it. And for once she wasn't going to get wet. Jordan stood awkwardly in the entryway, unsure of what to do next.

Seeing the girl was obviously still a bit shaken up from what had previously happened, he knew there was something he had to do in order to at least comfort her somehow. "You cold? I could...you know, heat you up. I obviously don't use the heater here." That was the thing about Benjamin, he always seemed to make jokes even when it was supposedly a serious moment. Taking off his own jacket, which would obviously be wamr due to his own body temperature, he placed it around Jordon's body, before leading her to the couch. "Tea? Coffee? Something to eat?" He didn't exactly know what the girl would want, as he hadn't brought anyone home with him in quite a long time.

She smiled at Ben and accepted the coat, pulling her hands out of her pockets and pulling it around her torso. It was warm enough that she had to fight off the urge to go wrap her arms around Ben. What happened to you? She asked herself, irritated. You're trying not to go hug a guy. Before she'd met Ben a couple hours ago, Jordan had hugged maybe two other people in her entire life. The red-head let him steer her to the couch and stared unlacing her combat boots one-handed. Leaving the hand she'd used to show Ben... that resting becide her. She pulled her shoes off and wrapped her arms around her knees. "Something warm." She called to him.

(Sorry for the late reply. I'm hopeless, heh. Also, this is pre-battle, as he has a large role.)
Watching the younger girl sit down by the couch, he sort of re-assessed the situation. The girl was young, probably not even in her twenties yet; however, that didn't mean she didn't act her age. She seemed tough, and also as though she had built a wall around her emotions. Hell, her emotions were probably so tightly defended that even someone like Alfie would struggle to get in; but maybe Benjamin could at least give it a shot. "No worries. There's a blanket there if you're cold. " Moving over to the mini-kitchen, he began to get a cup of tea ready. He didn't exactly have much to offer in his apartment, as he was hardly ever in here aside from the night and sleeping. The good thing about his gifting was the fact that he didn't need a kettle or a microwave, he could just place his hand over the liquid for a short moment and it would heat up. Grabbing milk from the fridge, he poured a small amount into the cup, before taking the tea over to Jordan.
"One cup of tea; extra warm." With a smile, he placed it on the coffee table in front of the couch, opposite Jordan. He himself then proceeded to move next to her, sitting down and placing one arm around the back of the couch which she was leaning against. "You can stay for as long as you need to."

(it's fine. I probobly won't be on tomorow, btw.)\
bic- Jordan abandoned his coat and wrapped the blanked around herself, enjoying the feeling of just being warm. And safe. In her life, she was relitivly safe, but never warm. That wasn't how things worked for her life. She pulled her feet farther up against her body. Smiling thinly. Jordan accpeted the drink from him. "Thanks." She actually meant it too, which was different for her. She wrapped her burnt hands against the mug, enjoying the warmth and forcing herself not to wince. She leaned up against the couch, resting her head agaisnt his arm. "I- thainks."

"That's enough 'thank-you's' for one night; alright?" With a slight chuckle, Ben made reference to the fact that she really didn't need to be thankful. He was offering this out of the goodness of his will and he wasn't exactly expecting a medal for it. "So, tell me about yourself. What do you do for a living?"
(Alittle short, but it is 1:06am here and I got back from work about a hour ago so pretty knackered.)

ooc- It's okay. I'm so sorry that i couldn't be on.
bic- She nodded. Thank-yous weren't really Jordan's thing. And she was cool with that. She laughed slightly at question. "Um... Well I'm not a prostitute. And that's... good." She hesitated, looking at him with wide eyes. "There's not a lot that I can do." She pulled her hands up to show him her palms again. "I mean, my hands are useless for the most part, and based off my appearance no one's going to hire me to do anything. I was a drug-mule for a while. I could be an assassin, there's not a lot I could do."

With the raise of a eyebrow, Benjamin slowly stretched his legs out, taking in the words of the girl whom he had met something along the lines of 2 hours ago. "There's always the circus." With a snicker following his attempted fish at lightening the mood, he wiped his eyes slowly, showing slight traces of fatigue. "There's a place for everyone, you've just got to look at your dreams first, and then climb the stairs, step by step."

Jordan gave him a slight grin, understanding. "Yeah. That's where yyou go, right?" She sighed, That's where all the freaks go. The red-head set her empty mug down on the floor and glanced around again. Absently she reached up to rub her black-eye, not even realising she was doing it. Jordan froze, forcing her hand down again. She wasn't going to do that. Biting her lip, she realised Ben had been talking again and struggled to figure out what he'd said. "Yeah, well I don't belive in my dreams enough to even try to get to the first step. I mean, I was born and raised in the bronx. Dreams aren't a big part of life."
