"....Ladies and Gentlemen of the United States of America, make no mistake! Mutants are people, but mutants are dangerous, we have already seen the destructive nature and ability of the terrorist Magneto. We have seen these.....vigilante groups, The X-men and The Hellions tearing up our streets with their conflicts! We are not asking for mutants to be placed into concentration camps! This is still America, Land of the free! But Ladies and Gentlemen, we need to know who these people are! Mutant Registration is good for everyone, it lets us know who these people are, what they can do and it helps us, help them! I'm Senator Kelly, and I'm asking you this, when you walk into that voting booth on the fifteenth of this month, you vote Yes! to mutant registration!"
Ladies and Gentlemen that was the speech given by Senator Kelly, one of the most vocal members of the Friends of Humanity, the coalition of Politicians who believe in taking steps in protecting everybody, in the emergence of Mutantkind. You saw it here first on CNN."
That TV was quickly turned off after that. They didn't need to watch anymore.

"Well ain't that just peachy." Logan nearly spat, arms crossed at his chest as he tossed the remote back onto the couch. Adorned in a pair of jeans, a black t-shirt, his favourite boots and one of his quickly becoming trademark "cowboy" hats.
"Why am I not convinced they have our best interests at heart?" he asked, tilting his head to one side every so slightly, an eyebrow raised more so.

"They cannot be serious." Emma said as she leaned into the doorway of the students rec room. As opposed to mentally calling her Hellions to her office she went down to meet them. Conversation would be easier.
She entered the room, wearing a long white form fitting sweater and a pair of black pinstripe pants. Her hair was loose around her shoulders. Her outfit was coupled with a pair of white heels. She made her way over to the movie shelf and leaned against it.
"Well, now that our wonderful 'Land of the free', is trying to force our identities upon the whole world, we will have to take extreme care in our lives. I am allowing you all in on my decision. My mutant student population has an open choice to allow their identities to be revealed. I know how you two stand, but I have no doubt some other members may feel differently. You have open suggestion to try and persuade that small group to see the other side. And I have no doubt that, whilst our 'super saving' the government will intervene and demand our identities. We will find a way out of this. Whether it be blocking their minds or even using minor physical force. We will dwell on this later." Emma finished her spiel, looking rather annoyed.
She wasn't so much annoyed at her student, more so at the power hungry American government. She was hoping the world never came to this, much less America.

Ah crap... this was some real crap. Mutants would now be forced to register with the government, an organization that clearly couldn't care less about the race. Davis stood in the doorway bouncing a small rubber ball against the wall over and over. This sure was going to end well. Davis and his sister came to this damn country to get away from idiots out to kill them. If they were forced to register, it would just make the bad guys' job much easier. People kept their identities secret for a reason. ”Cause they sure as hell don't. Only people this will benefit is humans.”
Davis stopped bouncing the ball when the head mistress came into the room. He moved out of the way to let her pass. As she began to speak, he went over to Heather placing a hand around her shoulders to be a bit lazy and let her support his weight. He was all for not registering and kicking ass. ”You guys already know the situation with Heather and me.”
