Her tone changed dramatically. It went from quiet, loner, even almost shy to sly and somewhat devious. Something he should of expected but didn't, it wasn't time to lose his cool now. He couldn't play the fool, not now. He had already gave her tip of his true personality but it didn't seem she knew it so rolled his shoulder with a grin to keep her guessing.
"I like...Staring at fish." He said with a sarcastic tone adding some flirt to his voice. "Who doesn't right?" He continued hoping she could follow his joke.

"Right" she said with a little laugh. She turned back to him and flashed a shy smile. "I don't really think that sea animals are my forte, ya know?" she said as she looked at the glass.
Laura shuffled her coat closer to her body as they turned down a hall. "What do you do around here?" she asked, trying to make conversation.

He saw her smile and assumed that it was a more shy-type smile. This girl seemed to like to keep him guessing. "I do." He responded with a soft smile. He continued to follow her down the hall and this seemed all boring, and slightly hard to keep up a converstion. Personally, he didn't mind all of this but he didn't know about her. "Nothing really." He said with a shrug, not truly understanding what she meant, seeing as he didn't truly know a lot about her. He didn't wish to bore her and had an idea to make a move on her. But he didn't want her to feel uncomfortable and maybe even strike him. Decisions, decisions. Well if she did feel awkward and didn't wish to talk to him anymore, what were the chances that they would see each other again? Ah hell, why not? He moved infront of her and leaned her lightly against the wall. He placed a hand on the wall next to her head and gave her a smile. "I hope I am not being too foreword. If so, I'll back off."

Laura's eyes widened at the movement of her being pushed into the wall. They quickly narrowed as she realized what he was trying to do. Then they quickly softened as she realized the poor boy was nervous. To be honest, she was herself as well. She didn't think she could have that effect on a male. To have him want to react in such a short amount of time. She let a smile slip into her emotions as she listened to him talk.
Wow, she thought to herself, he is really diggin' this. Wonder what I should do? Before she could stop herself, the words poured out.
"Well...that depends...what are you planning on doing?"
What am I thinking?! This isn't me! she thought as her mind raced.

"Like I said I think you're cute. I would like to take you one a date or something." He said as smoothly as he could trying his best not to mess up or choke on words. This is his first time hitting on a girl, so this was all improvision. Everything he had read from books and seen from the television. But so far, so good. She seemed to be interested, only thing now was to keep her liking him. But what now? Should he try to kiss her or something? Morphia just kinda fucked him and got it all over with. Was this girl the same way? He didn't know. To play it safe he was going to wait for her reaction.

"A date huh?" she said with a thoughtful look.
"I suppose that'll work. The Horrorpops are having a concert on Saturday night. Two days from now. That work for you? You'll be buying" she said with a snarky little smile as she looked up at him.
She decided to play this little game for now. See where it led. What could it hurt anyhow? It was just some mild flirting. She hadn't done it in so long, she didn't want to get rusty. SHe was kidding herself. She should back out. While she had a open shot. SHe should just push him off of her. Why was she holding back?
She let a little smile grace her face as she looked back up at him, her arms behind her back, against the wall.

A smile appeared on his face. She actually wanted to date him? This day was going alright. But a part of him told him that this was a bad idea. From what he knew about her was that she was nice normal girl. While he was a mutant terrorist. But the feelings of female campanionship overwhelmed him, this was after all new to him. He nodded his head. "Sure. I'll pay for everything. Where and when do you want to be picked up?" He asked her as cooly and calmly as he could trying hide his excitement.

Laura shrugged as she saw his smile. "The Mass. Academy is fine. I can go outside and meet you." she looked up at him. Still backed against the wall.
"Does that work for you?" she asked as she fingered a studded bracelet on her left arm.
She crossed her legs as she looked up at him.
What am I doing? she thought to herself.
Oh, it's just a harmless date
But what if-
What if what?! He tries to hurt you? Kill him. Thats what you were trained to do ...right?
I-I don't want hurt anyone
Laura pushed the thoughts out of her head and smiled up at him.

"Yeah it does. I've seen the school a couple times when I passed by, so I know where it is." He said with a slight nod. He placed his hands in his pockets and leaned against the wall next to her. He would of never expected this. He had to find Dom and tell him, if the guy was still around, he didn't know. I had forgotten how lonely he really was when he was talking to Laura. He shook it off and looked down at Laura. "Well I can't wait." He said trying to keep her comfortable around him. He wanted to ask her if she would like to do something else at the moment but he didn't want to push his luck.

"Sweet" Laura said rather lamely. The conversation was dying. She had no idea how to bring it back up.
"As much as I love dark shadowy tunnels, how about we head up to the outside area? I hear the sun is looking great out there." she said as she pointed up.
She pushed herself off the wall with her butt and headed the way they came in. For some reason she was feeling extremely claustrophobic. Big day I suppose, she thought to herself.
"So...how old are you?" she asked.

He chuckled a bit at her remark. "It does look pretty nice." He said as he followed her up. The thoughts of boring her came up again as they walked. Was he that boring of a person? He would have to kick it up a notch at their date. His mind hit reality once more when she asked him a question on his age. "Oh I'm nineteen and you?" He responded returning the question.

"Seventeen" she said with a little smile as she pushed some hair behind her ear. "Wish I were older though, to be honest. I just feel like walkin' into a bar and ordering a drink. It kill me that I'm this young. I feel so much older. I've been through so much when I was young and I've grown up from it, I guess not that much though." she said as she gave a little laugh at the end.
"I grew up in Canada, so I love the cold weather. This Massachusetts weather is confusing as all hell. Sometimes rainy sometimes not. Just pick something and stick with it ya know?" she said as she cast a look at him. She still didn't know how to say his name. She decided she was going to resort to 'B'.
"What about you, B? Where did you grow up?" she asked him as she threw another smile his way.

"I don't know." He said with a playful tone. "If you think about it, you can get away with more things as a kid than an adult. Well smaller things anyway." When she asked where he grew up it gave him grim memories. A family that says they would love him no what then gets thrown away like a toy with no purpose. He got over it a long time ago but it still hurt whenever it is brought up. He smiled. "Well weather in Colorado is bipolar, it snowed in summer a couple of times. I was born in Japan but raised in every other place. If you understand."

"I've always wanted to go to Japan. I can speak Japanese actually. Colorado would be cool for the snowboarding. That's one sport I don't mind doing" she said with a little smile up at B.
"I've only ever to been to Canada and here." she said motioning her hand in a semi circle.
"How many places have you been to?"

"Can you?" He said interestedly. "How good are you at it?" It was rare for him to find an american looking girl knowing japanese. He wanted to start to speak with her in his native language. But that would seem....Him. "Snowboarding? I heard it is like surfing just with snow. If it is anything like surfing it's worth trying in my book." He said with a slight chuckle.
He took a moment taking a short breath in and out. Thinking of the places he had been to already, whether it be for missions or just plain old roaming, which was something he liked to do. Every place seems better for only a short time. Staying passed a month in a place seem too ordinary for him. "Well I've been to alot of places." He said with a nice grin.
