Sara nodded and watched him leave then headed off to find Lucas. They really needed to get that boy a cell phone. She headed back to the hotel figuring that would be the best place to find him and talk about what just happened. They really couldn't keep this up no matter how much she liked it just being the two of them. The girl paced and played with her bottom lip as she thought about the pros and cons. The one thing she didn't like was lack of intel but he was right she understood the need to know and unless you were part of it you really didn't need to know. They could be the bad guys but then even that could turn into an advantage if they garnered the information and turned spy of sorts. Either way it was all moot until she talked to Lucas anyway.

Coming into the room he looked at her and figured she was the one with the Giant robots after all. He saw it on the news screen and was trying to convince himself that it wasn't her that he saw on the TV, and without going into speed mode he rushed back here with the books she wanted. "Hey babe, glad to see those robots didn't smash ya, so what are you so worried about?"

Sara turned and looked at him her eyes were tired looking and surprisingly her body was starting to ache a bit. Since she'd never overextended herself before she didn't understand the ramifications. She felt like she got hit by a truck without any physical signs. "Uh... would have but I had some help. Not really worried just got talked to by the guy that helped me. He's a mutant recruiter of sorts." She knew he would have been worried so she went to him and gave him a hug and a quick kiss on the cheek. "I couldn't get much information out of him because it's covert. I know sounds hinky but I actually believed him. Called the team X-Force and they were hooked to a school. Covert enough that the majority of the student body and faculty didn't know it existed. He asked me to join and extended the invitation to you as well."

Rubbing his chin he thought about it for a second a place to call home for a while, without breaking the bank. That sounded good, but he really wished he had some more information before making a decision like this. Either way he knew he had to make a choice. "You wanna try it out don't you?" He knew the answer but had to ask. While waiting for her answer he mulled it over in his head a bit and thought that from what she knew it sounded good, at least on that surface level.

Sara watched him as he tried to decide. Slowly she nodded her head. "I wouldn't mind. It would give us a home base. Maybe even some cash so I don't have to keep hitting up dad..... It's affiliated with a school so an education. I don't really know if actually passed to graduate or if they just doctored them to get me out of there." She just didn't want him thinking that she thought he wasn't enough. So she kissed the tip of his nose in her slightly awkward fashion.

He knew she would say something like that and didn't want to disappoint her. Yet, he wasn't going to give in right off the get go just to make her happy either. He continued to rub his chin, acting like he was thinking and shook his head slowly. "I just don't know, not a lot of information to go on." He sighed again and decided that he kept her strung along lone enough. "But then again this would solve a lot of our problems. Lets do it."

That lack of information was what was bothering Sara as well. She played with her bottom lip. "I don't like the lack of intel either but I understand their want to keep it quiet." Well she was prepared to turn Cain down since she couldn't blame Lucas for not trusting it. She blinked at him when he agreed. "If we don't agree with it then we leave. Are you sure about this?" Just because she was feeling the need to be a part of a group was no need for him to do this. She had him and in all honestly that worked for her. "You do know that you're enough for me... right? This partnership of ours."

"Sara, I understand, but you need to get back to what made you great. While I make you better. Trust me I understand, and I know what you are worried about. So get the message out and I'll get us packed up and ready to head out. Okay?" He smiled at her as he kissed her softly letting her know that he was still here. He liked the idea that they were attached to a school, but not part of the main student body. Either way worked for him in all honesty and the fact that he could do this and enjoy his relationship with Sara was something that really got to him.

Sara kissed him back and nodded. "They made me better you made me great. Remember that. I'll go let him know we are in. Can't guarantee they won't make us attend classes though. Just a warning." She kissed him again and slipped off to go meet with Cain. It didn't take her long to find the restaurant and she slipped into the seat across from him. She'd told Lucas where she would be in case he stopped by. "OK.. so me and Lucas agree to give this a shot. What do we have to do?"

He sat there sipping coffee out of a tiny cup cause they refused to allow him to drink out of the pot. Sighing he saw the girl coming and was thanking god that she was showing back up so soon. He listened to what she said and grinned. "These tickets will get you to the school and then I'll give you guys a full briefing there. Just know that you guys made a good choice cause we do things that a normal school won't do for people with your gifts." he smiled as he looked her over again handing her two tickets. "Just get to the school as soon as you can. by the way. Welcome to the team."

Sara took the tickets and slid them into the pocket of her jacket and nodded. "We'll be there. He'll want a full briefing so that will be good and I can't blame him." She sat back and looked over at him. "He's packing us up right now so I have to get back. Thanks for the rescue earlier. But I have to go." She got up and gave him a quick hug before heading out and making her way back to the hotel. As soon as she walked in she barely made to the bed before she went face first onto it and passed out cold. Now that the adrenaline wore off the strain of over extending herself took affect.
