Appearance: Emily is a tall muscular girl with long blond hair that reaches her mid back. She has bright blue eyes and pale skin. Her lips are usually painted light pink.
She wears casual clothing such as jeans and t shirts, but has been known to wear more flashy clothing when trying to impress people.
Skills: Going to a European school while growing up Emily has learned to speak French as well as some poetry lines of Irish Gaelic. She is also very athletic, she was the star runner on her schools track team from age thirteen onward.
Having been born with no mutant powers Emily studied hard to become a geneticist after finishing college in New York at the Rockafeller center. But due to an encounter with Doctor strange she put her studies on hold to learn magic.
Emily was a novice magician who knew very few spells. She could restrain, shield and knew the basics of healing. Any attempt to use these powers now drains her greatly and involves her meditating for hours after to recover her spectral strength. She is unable to use these powers now, and trying does more harm than good.
Personality: Emily has a can do attitude, and is often very stubborn. Once she sets her mind to something she refuses to settle for anything less than that goal. It is very rare that she sets aside her set goal for any one else. This leads others to believe she is self centered or single minded- more often than not they are right.
Emily also has a problem with father figures. Due to never feeling adequate enough for her own father she is starving for affection from older males and often has a problem with bucking any set parameters given to her by older men. These two traits are contradictory and usually drive away the type of attention she craves.

The Mutant
Codename: Solaris
Mutant Abilities: Solaris as her name implies draws her power from Solar sources. She emits a low temperature from her body much like an aura of sun beams.
Once form of power she can use is harnessed from the sun. Using this stored solar energy she can create bursts of light powered energy that can burn through most metals such as steal, iron and titanium. Though metals such as Vibranium are still to tough for her to burn through.
As well as burst of burning energy Solaris can use her aura to concentrate harmful rays such as the UV rays of the sun to her opposers in hand to hand combat. This is also a factor in close physical contact with others for long periods of time. If she were to be standing beside some one for a long period of time with their skin touching she would 'sun burn' the other person.
As Solaris is exposed to light she becomes stronger, faster and all of her lesser powers gain more strength. Some of these powers include; mild telekinesis in which she can lift an object that is up to two hundred pounds, When Solaris is 'completely charged' she can lift up to seven hundred pounds. She can also fly using her telekinetic powers, this involves a great deal of concentration and is harder for her to preform.
Healing is another of Solaris' powers. She can heal her self of most injuries through a five to ten hour period in sunlight.
Manipulation and dimensional dispersion of atoms is one of Solaris' most powerful abilities. Through great strain and concentration she can break down the atoms of something and distribute them into various dimensional planes. As of now she can only break down something as small and fragile as a drinking glass.
Weaknesses: Solaris is weak to sonic frequencies, this can include noises such as dog whistles or sonic pulses through vocal vibrations on a certain power range (such as Black Bolt's voice) or even loud music. About the range of a stadium rock concert would be devastating to the mental control of her powers.
Many of Solaris' attacks require a great deal of concentration and strain to her body, leaving her vulnerable to attacks after she preforms one of her more powerful abilities.
When not exposed to sunlight for a while Solaris becomes weaker, and may often become sick. When sick by lack of sunlight Solaris becomes nauseous, dizzy and often looses appetite.
History:
Emily Linton-Davis was born in Cork Ireland close to fourty years in the future to parents Alexander Linton-Davis and Kendra Roberts Linton-Davis, she would be one of a set of twins.
Life growing up would be far from normal, both of her parents were retired super heros, and there had even been rumors of her father being a super villain at one point. She was considered one of the weird kids at school boarder lining popularity due to the fact her parents were constantly hosting figures such as Thor, Professor Xavier and Tony Stark.
It was no secret that her parents had some clout in the American hero scene only it was always kept a close guarded secret who they actually were.
When Emily and Sophia turned thirteen Sophia's mutant abilities awoke. Using her voice to control sonic frequencies Sophia was on her to becoming the next Black Bolt (only her family couldn't get her to keep quiet). Emily began to wait on her own powers to become prominent.
By age fifteen Emily had no mutant powers, she began to try and prep her body for any mutant changes, cutting all unnecessary sugars out of her diet, exorcizing daily and refraining from all party habits. Due to this she began to push the 'norm' for a non powered human. Like MVP before her she was considered more than human and less that Meta-human. But for Emily this wasn't enough, she felt that she'd never please her family if she didn't become a hero, and felt that there was no way to become one unless she had an x-gene.
Upon graduating from school Emily had given up on waiting for her abilities to awake. She soon became part of a group known as 'comet chasers' people who sought out freak accidents that could possibly give them meta-human abilities. For a year she traveled around the US trying to find a way to become a meta-human but nothing came of it. The fall after she turned nineteen Emily applied to the Rockafeller center and was accepted on a genetic science degree. She studied hard and kept her grades up, constantly trying to find some sort of formula that could change even one strand of her DNA to help her gain an X-gene.
Late winter that year Emily gave up her search due to a chance encounter with Dr. Steven Strange. The Doctor recognized the drive the girl had to help people and be accepted by her family, he agreed to help her learn the mystic arts.
During this time a young man from another dimension much like the Dark Realm came to Dr. Strange asking for his help in learning the proper magics to help save his Dimension. Dr. Strange refused to train the boy insisting that one student was enough, moved by the plea of the young man Emily requested that her training halt in order for Dr. Strange to help.
The young boy, whose name was Darius began training under Dr. Strange who would still help Emily in his spare moments.
Through many hardships Emily became a novice magician and even began to help Dr. Strange and Darius as they worked to save the young man's dimension. Through this time Darius and Emily began a romantic relationship.
Soon Emily was reunited with her family and felt that she could truly be on the same page as them. She and her sister even began to rekindle their sisterly relationship and teamed up on several missions.
One of these missions was to investigate a new island Dr. Doom was building in the middle of the pacific ocean. The girls were soon met by what Dr. Doom was up to. The man had been working on a type of portal that could draw the abilities of meta-human's in other dimensions and transfuse them into another being. Enraged by this theft of power Emily leapt into action before thinking and got in the way of the transfusing ray. The young magician was met with a burning and excruciating pain and soon blacked out.
When Emily awoke she was in a strange place, with no memory of who she had been. She was met by many adoring servants who called her mistress, ma'am and your majesty. She soon 'learned' that she was the fiancee of none other than King of Latveria Dr. Doom.
They told her she was called Solaris and was born to take the thrown and rule with her awesome powers. As time went on Emily began to feel that her life in Latveria was not right, and the fact that strangers calling them selves 'Darius' 'Primarch' and 'Devistation' were constantly trying to rescue her only confirmed the belief.
The longer these strangers came around the more about her past Emily began to remember. Soon she realized she couldn't remain in Latveria, and she had to escape. She also had to find a way to return the stolen X-gene she'd received. With a hastily formulated plan Emily escaped Latveria and began to try to find her way home. But the longer she traveled the more she realized she couldn't find the family home of the Linton-Davis'.
It wasn't long before she realized that the amount of power she had used in escaping Latveria had a devastating affect. Not only had she decreased her own power by more than half but she'd also torn a rift in time and traveled backwards nearly forty years.
Unable to return her powers, and unable to find away home Emily has enrolled in Xavier's school for gifted youngsters in an attempt to control her powers and find away home.

Emily sat in the gardens soaking up the sun, her mind was drifting back to her last encounter with her family, how she wished she'd only gone with them, then she'd be back home. With Darius, and with Mom and Dad. She sighed and sat up straight. No use pouting about something she couldn't change now. For now she had to find away home.
"Well I might as well meditate." She said allowed to no one in particular. "Maybe I can find away to reach some one who can help."
The young mutant chuckled, probably not. But she had to keep trying.
