That's too vague to be of any help. What would help is some kind of personality attribute, power, or direction you'd like to go. Because if I'm going to go by what you said: girl, 19-21, Hellion, then I could just say anyone since this site allows for alterations to characters (within reason).

If you are going to go with a Hellion, I'd take a look at all the current members and see who'd best fit in. Maybe even talk to some of them, get feedback, and try to find a character to fill a role or bridge a gap.

That's just it, I don't really know, hence why I was looking at some ideas if people thought canon. Since most know more about canons than I do, I was wondering who they could see as a young Hellion. Even if they have to be revamped to fit it.

Or you also have the choice to pick a character who wasn't a canon Hellion and make her one...

Personally, I could see you playing Mercury, or maybe even Firestar.

  Of those listed, Karma is a known lesbian, Cipher is one of the few black females, while Moonstar is Native American. These three things help them stand out a bit, and offer an interesting perspective to things, especially since everything is mostly a heterosexually white environment.
  
  Mercury is just interesting, since her powers work similar to the T-1000 from Terminator 2: Judgment Day, and Sway controls time to a degree. This leaves Marrow, pretty much an outcast, who is prone to violent mood swings and seeking her place. While Marrow isn't exactly unique in her approach, she does have two things going for her: 1) you could have a sub-plot going on, where she breaks off and forms the Morlocks (or she could secretly aid them while being with the Hellions), and 2) her powers allow the creation of keys, weapons, even shields and body armor. Definitely useful, alone or together on a team.
