Skills: Claire is a designer of different t-shirts. She loves making all sorts of designs on them. She also strives to train in her jujitsu more, becoming stronger. Coming from a french family, she is somewhat fluent in the language, having grown up in New Orleans. Her mother taught her how to sing properly and to play the piano. She still practices to show people the love and joy of music. Claire also loves to teach. She believes that showing people new things is essential in everyday life. Claire is also a lover of animals and believes that they should be properly groomed and taken care of

Personality: Claire is a very kind hearted person. She is always trying to help someone out in need. When there is someone that needs her help she is there. A southern belle at heart, Claire loves flirting with the boys. It is one of her past times, getting the boys attention with her bright red hair and her beautiful dark blue eyes. When it comes to her family, she is very protective of them. Coming from a military family, she would do whatever it takes to protect those she cares about. Claire does not stand for people who would bash her family and friends, a fiery spirit, she would rather bring that person down and show them, how it is to be bullied and mistreated.

Mutant Abilities:

Animal Telepathy: With this ability, Claire is able to talk to all sorts of animals. Finding valuable information from them and healing them. This is a great ability, as a lot of information is gathered. when another mutant passes an animal and she is able to track down enemies. Claire is mostly knowledge with dogs and cats, as most of them are the ones that she is able to communicate with the most. Claire is also able to communicate with any type of animal, gathering information from them and using their help in battle.

Weaknesses: Witnessing a death of an animal will put her into an uncontrollable rage, making her charge into battle. Claire has a major weakness for chocolate. She is a big candy fan, and would eat it all day if people would let her. Claire has a few phobias, one of them be tight spaces. She hates being in small spaces. She also dislikes sharp objects. She doesn't see the need for sharp objects to be a threat to someone.




History:
Claire Angela De Reuix was born to Marcellus and Marianne De Reuix, the youngest of their children and twin sister to Sabre. At an early age, she was noticed for her quick bonding with animals. She loved animals as she lived on a farm with her parents and brothers. It was there that she bonded quickly with their horses. At the age of seven, her mother had gotten a horrible letter from the government saying how her father was killed in action, this devastated poor little Claire. Two years later, her mother would remarry. Claire and her brothers grew to hate the man that their mother married, Gianni Rossiu, a congressman. Growing up, Claire was tormented by her step siblings for her unique ability to understand animals. Her brothers were always looking out for her as she took care of the injured animals. Also at a young age, her older brother Raoul taught her jujitsu thinking if she were ever to get into trouble she would need to learn how to defend herself.

At about 13, a rather disturbing incident took place. It was close to her fourteenth birthday that Claire was born a mutant. Coming home from school with her brothers, they had wandered up to the house hearing yelling. Claire knew once again that it was her mother and step-father arguing about pointless stuff once again. Entering the house, the came to find Gianni slapping Marianne and throwing her against the wall. Enraged, Claire charged at him, along with her brothers the three of them fought him. Gianni had grabbed Claire and slammed her against the wall and slapped her. While their step siblings took Raoul and Sabre out of the room to calm them down. Gianni grabbed Claire and dragged her out of the house and into the barn to discipline her. Screaming, kicking and biting Claire tried to get away from him. As he took her to the barn and threw her into a hay pile. As he started to rip her clothes, off enclosed in her mind crying for help. One of the horses jumped out of its stall, grabbing Gianni by the ruff of the shirt and tossing him into one of the beams. The beautiful black stallion stood over Claire snorting whispering to her that he would protect her. Not knowing how the animal was talking to her she laid there crying

Laying there in pain, her brothers and mother arrived to cover her up. It was then her mother realized what would of happened to her. It was a month later, that her mother had filed for divorce and charged him with attempted rape of Claire . During her time growing up, Claire had traveled to upstate New York to visit her father's parents. While their Claire was approached by a man named Professor Charles Xavier. He told her she wasn't alone with her abilities, explaining to her that he could help. Claire was unsure that she sought the advice of her mother. Her mother making Professor Xavier promise to watch over her. Agreeing to the promise Marianne gave her consent to have Claire go to the school.

At eighteen, Claire had graduated from Xavier's Institute of Gifted Youngsters. She would later enroll in Julliard for a music degree in singing and teaching. While there she meet other people like her. Most of them were in hiding, trying to lead a normal life. For five years Claire had been gone from the Institute, she was going to make her return. She wished to return to the place she felt at home, a place of family and friends. As she arrived back, she was greeted with familiar faces. The faces made her smile as she pursued her degree in teaching music to the young ones.

She smiled standing in front of the room, her long red hair pulled back into a ponytail. Claire De Reuix was now a professor at the Institute, living her dream of teaching others about music. She drew four lines on the board, writing a quarter note, half note and a whole note. These are the notes that are most common in Petior's work. Do any of you know of some of his pieces? Looking around the room, seeing the sun shine brightly through the double paned glass windows. Feeling the warmth of the sun on her rosy cheeks. Seeing a hand go in the air she smiled, Go ahead Michael. One of her students stood up looking at her I believe one of his most famous works is The Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, Miss De Reuix. Smiling brightly at her student she nodded at him, brushing her bangs out of her eyes, Indeed you are correct. Along with that here is your assignment. I want each and everyone of you to pick a piece of his work. Study it and memorize it on your instruments.Class is dismissed. Hearing the groaning of her students she shook her head as she went to clean off the chalk board, loving the feeling of teaching others, she was beginning to like this life a lot more.

Secondly- you'll need to receive permission from Jean Grey's player to use her in your app. On a tangent of this, you'll need to remove Jean's picture from your signature, too. And continuing with images- the avatar will need to be changed to match your character's appearance.

Once these things have been done, we'll take a closer look at the app.

Okay! Looks pretty good, just a few things I'd like to see changed.

First, with her name. Reika is very asian, and there's nothing else about her that's asian, Reuix is also an odd one, its similar to "De Rieux" which would make sense considering her area of origin, but Reuix itself, I'm not even sure if that is a surname.

Onto her skills, if you could do this in paragraph form (particularly letting us know how long and capable she is in each area), also, you can remove talking to animals, as that's her power and covered later in the app. Also, you mention designing, but designing what? Lastly on the skills front, as a native of New Orleans, can she speak French or Creole?

Her power is fine, although I'm curious about her speaking with animals of lesser intelligence, like fish and birds, which are much more basic intelligence wise then say, dogs or cats. Would she be able to have a normal conversation with them? Or is it more so, she can pick up vague things?

Gunfire really isn't a weakness to her powers... Now maybe saying "Witnessing an animals death, sends her into an uncontrollable rage" or something like that would be better.

The history is fine, bar one area, to do with her recruitment. At the point where she would have been recruited, Xavier's wasn't public about its position as a mutant school, at that point in time it would be more likely Xavier would have approached her parents (I know you had Jean earlier in your bio, but we have a standing agreement with Xavier and Emma Frost, they don't mind people mentioning them in there bios) as opposed to her finding out about it.

Okay, that went on a little bit longer then I intended. But after that I believe we'll be good to go.

Almost there. If you could expand a little bit more on the weaknesses? Perhaps make mentions of how she is mortal and can be wounded and killed by conventional means? Does she have any fears that would prevent her from acting?
