Cel is a lithe woman. She doesn't have much in the way of curves, but what she does have, she works well. She takes very good care of herself, but she isn't overly muscled. She prefers to keep a certain softness to her body. There are a few scars littered here and there. The most obvious ones are her old track marks on her right arm, but those are beginning to fade. The only other scars are on her lower back and are now covered up by her tattoo.
Cel has three tattoos on her body. One is a lower back piece of a white water lily with vines reaching over her hips and around to her inner thighs. Hidden within the petals of the lily are the names of her mother and sister. Around her ring finger on her left hand is the name "Adam" in a man's handwriting. There is a heart on her right oblique, sitting just at her pelvis with "Oana" written in script inside. There a rose sitting just behind the heart.
Cel loves going for what would be considered "extreme" looks. Her hair is often dyed a teal-blue and black. Some days she wears dreads in her hair. She's been known to change hair colors overnight, favoring a bright fire engine red as well. It's easy to tell when it's been a bad week for Cel, her hair is pinned tight to her head.
Cel does not wear clothes that most would consider "slutty". She keeps her bits covered. When at work, she's often seen in a pencil skirt, a starched white shirt, stockings and high heels. She'll switch the skirt out for pants on occassion, but.. well.. she has amazing legs. Why hide them? When she's not at work or on school grounds, she favors t-shirts and jeans. She's been known to wear a corset or two, but never on school grounds.
Skills: Cel is a talented musician and singer. She was taught piano by her mother. She taught herself guitar and is currently learning bass. She's never recorded any of her music nor does she have the want to. She does music as a sort of therapeudic outlet for herself. She does perform on some occassions, but only when asked. She doesn't volunteer that sort of information.
Cel is an amazing bartender. It comes from years of drug and alcohol abuse. You name it, she can probably make in in fifteen different variations. She's the omnibartender in her own words. She enjoys learning how to make drinks then making them until they're absolutely perfect much to the pleasure of those around her.
Cel is trained and licensed therapist. She has gone all the way through her Doctorate program.
Personality: Cel has been through a lot in her life. Because of this.. well.. she has a few issues. One such issue is her inability to connect well with others. On a surface level, she connects well with those around her, even becomes friends with many people. But they never get to know the inner Cel. She doesn't let many in. The only people that knew who she really was died several years ago.
Despite her ability to get close to others, it's quite easy for Cel to "fall" for those around her. While her "falling" rarely means love, it is easy for Cel to feel for those around her. Whether it be a maternal instinct or something stronger. Cel tries to force herself into detatchment, often provoking the person she cares for in some fashion. She'd try to force them into hate her. After this "test of loyalty", she is theirs till the end of time.
Cel is a bleeding heart. She has a heart and a giving spirit that will go on for days. She is willing to do anything for those who she cares about. Even if is a person she's just met, if she finds them in an unhappy state, she will do anything to see them smile. If they have "proven" themselves to her, there is nothing at all she wouldn't do for them.
Cel is a bit of a party girl. It's what's left over her drug phases. She enjoys drinking quite a lot and will partake whenever she thinks it's necessary. She knows when to quit and when to drink herself stupid. She rarely drinks while on the campus. She has her own major stockpile, but there's rarely a time when she actually feels the need to hit the sauce. It's just fun to have a few drinks with friends.
Cel has a very long history with substance abuse. It started soon after she began prostitution and began tapering off once her sister died. The first time she truly quit was with Adam's assistance. She fell back to drugs after his death, but a vision in which he shared his disappointment with her forced her back to sobriety. It's hard for her to say no to any type of drug.

Mutant Abilities:
Empathy :: Celestina has the ability to feel what those around her are feeling. It is a power passed down from her mother's side of the family. She can feel the emotions of anyone within six feet around her. If she has a deep connection with a person, such as family bonds or love bonds, then she is able to feel how they're feeling within several hundred miles from her.
Power Augmentation :: Celestina has the power to enhance the powers of those around her. She can enhance a group of people's powers by a little bit or a single person's by a great deal. When she is in the presence of the individual or group, the enhancement lasts as long as she can be there. When she isn't in the presence of the individual, the enhancement will last an hour. She has the ability to make it an offensive power by pushing more of her power out, to stun or even knock an individual out, but she doesn't have that ability yet.

Power Weaknesses ::
Cel's empathy works on a knowledge basis. The more she knows about a person, the easier it is to pick up on their emotions, especially the hidden once. Surface emotions are easy to see, but they are rarely the ones that need to be paid attention to. Deeper probing without knowledge of the person can take a lot out of Cel if the person is resisting her, even subconciously.
Cel's augmentation works on the same basis as her empathy. If she understands how a person's power works, then she is able to better enhance it. If she has no idea how their powers work, she can offer little help. The more she uses her power, especially if she doesn't know the person's powers, the harder it is on her. If she isn't careful, she will wear herself out and collapse.
Personality Weaknesses ::
Cel's main weakness is her former drug usage. She was a drug addict from nine to sixteen. That's a long time for anyone to give up something. Since her husband died, she has no real reason to keep clean despite his supposed displeasure of her actions. If someone put any sort of drug in front of her, it'd be rather hard for her to say no to it.
Cel is a bleeding heart. When she begins to care for someone, she won't stop until she's dead or they've destroyed her in some way. Once you're under her skin, she'll never forget you. Even if you rip out her heart and stomp on it, she'll be there for you no matter what. If someone, anyone, is hurting or in danger, she'll risk life and limb to save them.
General Weakness ::
Cel's powers are not offensive. She is a support team member only. There is the potential to use her power offensively, but it would be dangerous. She could potentially enhance the power of the person she was fighting. If she succeeds in incapacitating her opponent, she will be either severely weakened or pass out herself until she learns to use it properly. There will always be the risk, however.
History:
Cel was born in Budachrest, Romania. She was born to Andrei and Uta Saiphae. Her father was a human while her mother was a mutant. Her mother had the power of telepathy and empathy. Her father was a firm believer than all mutants should not be allowed any rights. He beat her mother every day for what she was and what she passed onto her children.
From the age of seven, Andrei put Celestina to work. By work, I mean he prostituted her out to men who loved little girls. She had three, four, even five customers in a single evening. She did as her father demanded. He threatened to hurt, even kill her mother. She worked the streets in fear for her mother's life. Celestina doesn't exactly remember when she started doing drugs. Her father handed them to her so she wouldn't fight the men who forced themselves on her. Celestina figured out what was going on and began taking more to make her own existance more bearable. She would try almost anything at least once. Her drug of choice quickly became heroin and marijuana. She started her day with drugs, she ended her long evenings with drugs. As soon as the high threatened to leave her, the syringe was back in her veins.
Uta produced another girl, Oana, when Celestina was eight. Celestina's sister Oana was beautiful. She was perfect in every way to Celestina. Andrei would threaten to put her on the street, but Celestina wouldn't have it. She forced her way in and made sure that Oana never got any customers once Andrei actually put her on the street. Oana was five when she went out, but she was eight before she lost her virginity to her first customer. Celestina continued to keep the men from her little sister, often taking two men at a time, destroying what was left of her fragile childhood. Uta finally produced a son for Andrei. He stopped beating her for a bit, but one evening, she spanked his son. Something in Andrei snapped. He began beating her. Celestina tried to stop him, but he shoved her back, slicing her lower back to shreds. Andrei beat her mother to death before her eyes.
Oana, after a particularly rough customer, became very sick. Celestina secretly took her to the doctor. The results were.. shocking. Oana had contracted AIDS from one of her clients. Celestina came off the streets to take care of her sister, but when her father threatened to send her sister to work the corner once again, Celestina returned. Oana died at the tender age of ten. Losing bother her mother and Oana so close together damaged Celestina. She took care of her brother during the day and worked the streets at night.
Soon after Oana's death, Celestina had to get out. Her father had become more abusive towards her. Her brother was quickly becoming independent and soon wouldn't need her. One day her father got extremely drunk and told her as soon as Peter didn't need her, he was going to kill her. Without a second thought, Celestina drugged her father and left home. She wandered the hills of Romania for a bit before deciding it was far too dangerous. She took the first train out of Romania. She wandered the whole of Europe, picking up languages, the cultures.
Celestina went to Ireland and instantly fell in love with it's countrysides and.. well.. it's drinking scene. She was still very heavily into drugs when she came to Ireland. It was beginning to take a toll on her. During a rather extensive pub crawl she met her future husband, Adam Murphy. They hit it off immediately. They began seeing more of each other. Adam was a mutant such as herself. As they got closer, Adam told Celestina his plan. He wanted to go to America and join the fight for mutant rights. Celestina agreed to go with him when he finally decided to go.
It wasn't long before Adam discovered Celestina's drug problem. He found her in the bathroom preparing to shoot up. He dumped her drugs into the toilet and flushed them immediately. Celestina reared back, waiting for the punch that would follow such a discovery. She was shocked when Adam pulled her close. Told her things would be okay. He helped her to get clean. He enrolled her in the college he attended.
Adam and Celestina's relationship progressed rather quickly. Soon she had moved in with him and he asked her to marry him. They married after she got her Bachelors. They moved to America two years later after Celestina had gotten her Master's. Adam hooked up with a local ragtag "team" of mutants who fought for mutant rights. He fought for their freedom while she finished up her doctorate. She was supposed to hoin him soon after, but fate intervened. Seven years after their marriage, Apocalypse began his all out assault on the world. Adam died at the hands of one of Apocalpse's Sentinels.
The surviving member of Adam's team broke the news to Celestina. At that very moment she broke down. She had lost what made this world bright. She began using very heavily again, almost trying to overdose so she could be with Adam once again. She came closer and closer to overdosing. One night, Adam came to her in a dream. He told her how disappointed with her. She was meant for better things. When she woke up, she tossed her drugs away and went for help.
Celestina, once she was clean, began fighting with the Adam's team member as well as the new group of mutants. She fought beside them for a while. One day they stumbled on the famous Xavier's home. The rest of the team moved on, but Celestina stayed to become their new in house psychologist for the problem students. She helped them cope and even taught them a bit of control (usually) during the process.
RP Sample:
Cel was sitting alone in her office. She tapped her fingers against the wood of the desk. Her eyes closed some. It was easy to become lulled in this atmosphere. Soft music playing in the background, a comfortable chair. It was easy to forget there was so much trouble outside these walls. She shook her head and leaned up. She had gotten a communication from her old "team". They always kept her up on what happened on the front lines. Word was... not good.
She shook her head and returned to the land of the living. She looked down at the files in front of her. So many new students. She had to learn them inside and out like she knew everyone else. She sighed and shook her head with a smile. "Might as well get to work, huh?" She shook her head and settled in. Oh it would be a very very long day.
