Ryan is skilled in Akido martial arts, as he had taken it up since his freshman year of high school, and kept it up till graduation. This has allowed him to possess a rather athletic body. Because he holds a strong passion for music, he has self taught himself to play acoustic and electric guitar.
Personality: Ryan comes of as a rude, aggressive type. He has no fear of speaking his mind, and disregards whomever he may offend. While he doesn't intentionally mean to offend or disrespect people, he believes solely in his beliefs, and refuses to change his perspective for many.
Ryan has shown a dislike, and distrust for society, as he is shunned due to being a mutant. While he generally possessed trust issues before, he now clearly shows his dislike for human kind.
When need be, he can lie, and lie very well. He can mold his personality to be whomever he chooses to be seen by people, granted it is all an act to get where he needs to without a large sum of conflict.
While not excelling in his schooling, Ryan often shows sparks of intelligence. He often deals with motivational issues, lacking the mind to care for anything, or anyone.
When given the opportunity, Ryan shows a comedic side, cracking jokes at any instance, and at anyone's expense.
He's proven on multiple occasions to be something of a pervert, flirting with women whenever he gets the opportunity. He shows great fondness with females, and can be persuasive and charming when he chooses.
While it is hard to find friends, Ryan shows loyalty to whomever he chooses to give his trust, for he dislikes betrayal. He possesses trust issues, and emotionally distances himself from people.

The Mutant
Codename: Bloodvein
Mutant Abilities: Bloodvein's ability allows him to use his own, or any exposed blood within a 5 meter radius and manipulate it as he sees fit by using his hands. The only stipulation is that he must have an area for blood to be pulled from. For example, a wound on his body. This could be a gash, a slash, a puncture, etc. The blood must touch a decent amount of oxygen, Once the blood has touched oxygen, he can mold and harden it, thus transforming it into weapons, or form spherical projectiles that explode upon impact. The density of blood can become hard enough to break through stone, or thin enough to slice and cut.
Bloodvein also possesses a supernatural body, capable of enhanced natural healing. Though he cannot recover from a severed limb, broken bones are able to fix themselves within mere days, and he accumulates blood more rapidly than others. He doesn't suffer from small illnesses, such as colds, the flu, etc.
Weaknesses: Bloodvein's weakness lies in his ability usage. While his body recovers at an accelerated rate, he needs to rest and rehydrate himself, to replenish any blood loss. When not using his ability his body begins creating more blood. It only stops while his power is within use. After an excessive usage of his power he will be rendered unconscious. The normal human body contains between 8 to 12 pints of blood, and an average person will die if they lose more than 4 pints. Ryan, however, can lose twice that much, and still manage to live. He will however be rendered unconscious if he loses as much.
History: Ryan Black, for the most part, grew up as a normal kid. Went to school. Took up martial arts and guitar. Etc. It was a pretty normal living for someone such as him. His father, Joshua Black, was the CEO of Black Co, a micro programming corporation, and a fairly successful business. Ryan and Joshua were more enemies than father and son. His father often tried to force him into learning the business to take over Black Co. when he retires, but Ryan rebelled against his father.
During the time when mutants became publicly known by the United States, Ryan's older brother, Micheal, showed signs of having mutant powers. The ability to feel the emotions and thoughts of others, simply by making eye contact with them. Micheal and Ryan's parents, out of fear, kicked Micheal out of the house. Out of compassion for her brother, and resentment for her parents, Carmen left the home, chasing after Micheal as he left. Time went by. The siblings weren't to be heard from.
Eventually Ryan's mother grew ill, due to stress from worrying about her missing children and was hospitalized. Joshua eventually began heavily drinking, and got into fights with Ryan. Sometime during Apocalypse's reign over South America and Africa, Joshua's father got into a drunken rage, and argued with Ryan, blaming him for Micheal and Carmen's disappearance, and his wife's illness. Ryan blamed his father for forcing Micheal to leave, and struck him in the face as hard as he could. Joshua pulled a knife of Ryan, and began swinging wildly at him. Defending himself, he disarmed his father, and snapped his arm in two. Shocked by his actions, he ran away from home.
A day had passed before Ryan decided to return home, but his father had called the police to search for, and arrest Ryan. On his way home, Ryan was approached by several police officers. After a small discussion, Ryan refused to be taken to jail, and attempted to flee the policemen. The authorities pulled their batons, and began beating on Ryan. In an attempt to defend himself, he grabbed a broken piece of glass from the street, and attempted to slash at an officer. The officer smashed his baton against Ryan's head, forcing him to his hands and knees once more. The glass he grabbed slit into his hand, causing a large pool of blood to form along the ground around his right hand.
Suddenly, Ryan's hand grew hot. Eventually all the blood in his body began to boil wildly. It slowly turned to pain. Aching with pain the officers looked on in confusion, and decided to approach him to subdue and arrest him. Ryan's head and arm shot up. He extended his arm to try and get the officers to stop. Instead, the very pool of blood that was around his hand formed into a sphere, and shot off instantly at the the officers. The blast knocked them all unconscious. Shocked by what he had done, he rose to his feet, and began to limp away into a dark alley. He was hurt, and beaten pretty badly, but he knew he'd be arrested if he administered himself into a hospital. He simply sat in the alleyway, waiting for death. He dozed off, thinking it would be the last time he'd breath. Awaking hours later, he found himself feeling much better, with a majority of the bruises and the cut on his hand healed. He thought for a moment while walking down the streets. A news cast on a tv caught his eye, as he passed an electronics store. The news of Apocalypse made him realize he possessed mutant powers.
Without a home to return to Ryan was forced to live on the streets. A few weeks went by. Ryan dodged and avoided the law as much as he could. Without anywhere to go, and no one to turn to, he felt lost. Remembering that there was a place for people like him, a place for mutants, he decided to seek out Xavier's school. Hopefully he would find somewhere safe to live, while discovering the whereabouts of his brother and sister.
RP Sample:
It was rather early. Far too early for his liking. The hard, steel bench had done its work on his body. As he rose to sit himself up, pains shot through his side. Of course just mere moments later the pain would subdue itself, and it'll be like it wasn't even there. Groaning, he placed his hand upon his hand, almost pushing his palm into his eye, allowing it to slide up to his forehead. His fingers slipped through his slick red locks.
Even though it was days ago, his encounter stressed his mind. So much for broken ribs, scrapes, and cuts. He couldn't get rid of that headache. The bothered man clenched his teeth as he rose slowly to his feet. The sun was just peeking its head up above the horizon. The sky was becoming more and more orange. He looked around the city streets from the park. Several cars were passing by as he looked on. The higher class society, where people had to be at work at 4am, and leave as the sun is dying. He sighed, and started walking.
Ryan carried himself along the street, his hands dug into his pockets, and his bloody button up shirt wrapped around his body. He tried his hardest not to notice it. It was a rather disturbing thought. But he couldn't escape it. The unnatural healing and turning his blood into a frag grenade. He knew what he was, but he couldn't bring himself to say it aloud, though it rang in his head over and over.
The sun continued to rise and color the surroundings. His shirt and face would become more noticeable. He needed to get somewhere more safe than the plain sight. He noticed his blood boiling as he continued moving on. He wasn't completely sure where this school for mutants was, but he'd find it. It was that, or possibly be given 25 to life for assaulting his own father, and several cops. Resisting arrest. Being a mutant. The problems piled up. He had no choice now. The life he knew was over, and he accepted it.
