Appearance:
Skills: Piotr spent most of his life on a Russian work farm. He is skilled in cultivating land, performing acts of heavy lifting. Given that life hasn’t been easy he is also a proficient brawler, learning to make use of his size and strength even before he made the trip to Xavier’s. He also has shown a surprising natural talent for art, particularly with painting.
Personality: Piotr is often referred to as the gentle giant. Despite his size and strength, which can be intimidating to some people at first, he is a calm, soft spoken young man. He is polite and considerate of the feelings of others and dislikes those who are rude or disrespectful no matter the reason. Even with his powers Colossus dislikes using them for fighting and would rather find more constructive uses for them besides punching someone through a wall. However he has come to accept that violence is still very much a part of the world and will certainly use his gifts to their full extent in order to protect the innocents around him.

Codename: Colossus
Mutant Abilities:
Organic Steel Transformation:[/b] Colossus abilities are centered around his power to transform his body into a form of Organic Steel-like form. Colossus’s transformation is a conscious act of will, when he does so his body gains additional height and mass yet still manages to maintain the same degree of mobility and speed that he has in his human form. Piotr’s transformation is virtually instantaneous.
Superhuman Strength: While transformed Colossus possesses incredible strength. Since his power manifested itself Piotr’s strength has increased from a teenager all the way until adulthood. Currently he has been rated at being able to lift a maximum of 90 tons under optimal conditions.
Superhuman Stamina: While transformed Colossus’s body produces far fewer fatigue toxins. In his armored form Colossus can maintain himself at peak physical exertion for two days before he becomes impaired.
Superhuman Durability: While transformed Colossus is invulnerable to most forms of bodily harm. He can withstand firearms up to a 110 mm Howitzer shell and can also take extreme temperatures from -390 degrees Fahrenheit and all the way up to 9000 degrees. He can also withstand falls from great heights, extreme impacts and other damage of the like. While his body attracts electricity because of its metallic nature but he is apparently immune to the effects. Colossus also can go several days without food, water or air but would eventually need to consume something.
Weaknesses: Colossus’s transformation is an act of will and once he transforms he will remain that way until he consciously chooses to do so. However should he be knocked unconscious he will revert back to his flesh and blood form. Also despite the advantages of his abilities he is highly vulnerable to mutants with abilities that affect metal or deal with magnetism. Colossus also has no defense against telepathic based attacks.
Piotr is not a violent man and sometimes can be faced with a situation that disagrees with his more peaceful nature. He lacks a killer instinct and combat and will often try to incapacitate an opponent rather then hurt them. This can also make him a less aggressive fighter unless something manages to anger him to the point of losing control.
History: Born to a Soviet work farm in Siberia Piotr grew up with a very simple life. With no schooling, no running water or electricity he understood the value of the simpler things in life. From his earliest years Piotr was raised to be a farmer and learned from both his parents about things likes growing crops, mending clothing and other tasks.
His parents where very happy extremely happy as Piotr hit his adolescent years and the young Russian began to grow in size and strength. He became a better farmer and started to become a great asset to the farm. One day Piotr was sent out with the tractor to remove tree stumps from a patch of land that was to be used for crops next season. Alone Piotr had difficulty removing the stumps because of the run down tractor and it a fit of rare anger he tried to pull a particularly nasty stump by hand. As his muscles strained Piotr’s power emerged as he converted into his steel form and ripped the stump out from the ground. Shocked and confused Piotr had never heard about mutants before and couldn’t imagine why his body as done this.
With some effort he managed to change back. He decided not to tell anyone about his transformation and to keep his power a secret since he was uncertain how his family would react to the change. Piotr began using his power in secret to do farm work that would have otherwise been impossible for the rest of the farmers to manage.
It was long after this that Piotr was visited by a stranger from America. A bald man in a wheel chair calling himself Charles Xavier visited the work farm and wished to speak with him. When they where alone Xavier explained who he was and about his school in America. At first Piotr claimed ignorance about why Xavier would want him and tried to tell Xavier he had the wrong person.
At that moment however a tractor lost control and raced out of control toward Piotr’s sister Illyana who was playing in a nearby field. Seeing that she wouldn’t be able to get out of the way in time Piotr transformed and saved Illyana by shielding her with his body. Unable to hide his secret any longer Piotr knew his life was about to change. After a long discussion between Piotr, Xavier and his parents the decision was finally made for Piotr to travel back with Xavier. It was not a decision Piotr was comfortable with but he agreed to the wisdom of his parents. Piotr, or Peter now as others tend to pronounce his name, has been at Xavier’s for almost a year now and is still trying to adjust from a world that is so strange and different from the one he knew back in Russia.

The gentle sound of brush strokes touching the canvas mingled in with the soft music that drifted out of the speakers on Peter’s stereo. The colors gently mixed together in various lines, circles and countless other shapes that mingled together on his canvas to form a picture. The beauty of the art was that he was never certain of what he would end up painting when he first started. He just started painting and eventually something would make itself clear on the canvas.
As he continued giving life to his newest artwork he couldn’t help but think about how strange this entire country was. Back in Russia Piotr would not be sitting around merely painting, instead he would most likely have been plowing a field with a pair of oxen. A part of Piotr missed that life, it was simple and easy to understand. But here in America he was finally able to get an education that he never would have received working on the farm collective. Here he knows freedom to choose, to decide what it is he wants from life, to make his own choice.
Still though he could help but wonder if he had made the right choice or if he should simply have stayed home and been a loyal citizen to Mother Russia. For that answer only time itself would tell which choice was the correct one.
After Five years he has been with the X-men he has made great relationships with all of them. He has never ever late his duty come befor his friends he is the X-mens mighty wall and will stand with them till the end of time. Being a X-men for four years has given him much training and he has mastered his his power he has even learned how to heal his metal wow in battle. H has strived to be the best of the X-men but with Apocalypse rise to power he is afraid if he will survive Apocalypse WWIII. But he will fight to the death.
