Appearance:
Dani appears as an average looking young woman. Her Cheyenne roots are very prominent in her appearance; demonstrating a strong facial structure that is paired with almond shaped brown eyes and dark thick hair. She has an athletic frame that has a few scars nicking her russet flesh from a childhood of being an adventurous little girl and a bit of a spitfire of a young woman. She wears comfortable clothes, not necessarily caring about the aesthetic that others might see in it. She will dress up but there had better be a god damned good reason. [Face claim: Nikki Reed]
Skills:
Fighting: Dani knows hand-to-hand combat from training at the Academy for a year as well as being self taught in just how to defend herself. She fights a bit reckless and unfairly, but that is just her way. She also will use weapons to her advantage.
Education: Dani is an average student for a young woman her age. She is nothing spectacular in the classroom, but she works hard to get good grades. She learns by doing rather than listening or seeing, thus making a bit difficult for her to grasp things at times.
Weaponry: Thanks to Dani’s heritage, it has been tradition in her family to have people taught Cherokee hunting techniques. Because of that, she is skilled in archery as well as using knives, blowguns, and the tomahawk. She is average at the latter two but exceptional at archery and knife fighting. She has actually had to apply these techniques in hunting before Dani had been enrolled at the Academy. She wants to learn to use firearms but is still a bit conflicted about it.
Singing: Dani is a decent singer, she doesn’t necessarily do anything with it. She has thought about getting more involved with music but she recognizes it could interfere with her studies.
Personality: Dani is, upon first impression, a very serious young lady. She is very driven in her goals and doesn’t let things get in her way. She’s self-reliant and a bit of a loner at times. It’s not because she doesn’t feel like she fits in a school of the pampered, it’s more or less because she cares first and foremost about what she can get out of this school in regards to an education (since it was the primary reason why she chose to go to the Academy in the first place). She is completely intolerant of stupidity and even people’s insecurities. They are who they are and there’s nothing she can do to change that nor would she want to. During training she acts based on her instincts and sometimes comes off as reckless because of it. She is driven though she is not quite sure what toward. She is slowly learning to trust her classmates but it might be a while until she considers people her friend. Once a friend though, they are not only one for life, but they will have gained someone who will have their back right or wrong. Dani is very opinionated and incredibly stubborn when it comes to them. She says what comes to mind and has no problem standing up to those who think differently.
