Polaris Lehnsherr was not happy, not happy at all. Apocalypse had practically been running the world - well, most of it - and without any sort of visible resistance. To the strong willed Genoshan Princess, that was unforgivable. Especially from two beings as well known and as powerful as Emma Frost and Charles Xavier. It didn't take long to find them, after all the news and the public knowledge of mutants made it easy. On top of that, Genosha did have before that terrible tragedy, a sophisticated intelligence network. Now that Asteroid M was up and going, well, it continued to thrive as best it could. Now, that same intelligence brought the green-haired vixen to the front lawn of the Massachusetts Academy. Rak, rak, rak~! Any sort of defense system would be hard pressed to operate, let alone harm Polaris (of course, there probably does exist something to repel magnetic-based powers). Her mastery of electro-magnetism was awe inspiring, perhaps even more so than her fellow flesh. Still, the old man had years of experience, and was secretive when he had to be. It only made sense Magneto did not inform his offspring of everything, if he had, he'd be exposing his own hide to the dagger. Whatever the situation, Lorna had pushed her father to the back of her mind and priority list for the moment, instead hoping to gather the attention of these so-called Hellions, as well as the X-Men. " Let's see some entertainment, boys and girls.," she said with a smirk. " I'm waiting..."[/ul]

Marie-Ange had gotten rather lax in her Tarot readings lately. She used to check the cards religiously- at least once a day, usually twice or occasionally even more.
But, Adele had been teething and Marie-Ange was exhausted, having been kept up most of the night by her crying daughter. She barely had time to sleep herself, much less do Tarot readings to see what the future would hold, so there went the chance of any precognitive dreams she may have had.
Had she known, she never would have been outside with her daughter today. But she didn't know... only that it was perfect weather outside, and that Adele always enjoyed it whenever she played outside.
Adele had finally stopped crying, and after crawling around a bit on a blanket that Marie-Ange had brought out for that sole purpose, had fallen asleep resting in her mother's arms. She smiled softly, gently running her fingers through Adele's strawberry-blonde hair.
Rak, rak, rak~!
She frowned. What was that noise? She was going to kick whose ever ass that was if they woke Adele up.... but that is when she saw the flash of green.
No.
She held Adele closer to her chest, her eyes briefly glowing white as she eyed Polaris. What would a member of the Brotherhood be doing here, of all places? She was just glad that, even though she hadn't done and Tarot readings recently, she still carried them with her at all times.
"Can I help you with something?" she asked, narrowing her eyes slightly. There had to be a peaceful way to end this before it even started. Right?
