Alexander and Kendra were outside New York on a nice, remote retreat in Burnman Point State Park, Alex couldn't wait to see the look on her face when they arrived to the trailer park, they drove up the last stretch until Alex spotted the trailer he had rented, it was a cosy thing, not the biggest, but not the smallest either. He could have sprung for a big one, but thought the one he picked was nice in its own way. It was cosy.
They pulled up, and Alex stepped out of the jeep, taking a few steps towards it before turning around and bringing up his arms. "Well? What do you think!?" he asked with a giant grin plastered on his face.

Kendra laughed a bit. "When you said camping I was worried." She said opening her jeep door. "I thought you meant a tent, this is great." The mutant woman beamed leaning on her seat as she looked to the small trailer/cabin. "So how long do we get to be away for?"
The newly wed stage was starting to wear away quickly for the Linton-Davis couple, not that the love they shared was dwindling, but it was hard to keep the romance heated when surrounded by so many kids, and that load was added by the Xavier's kids coming aboard too.

"We've got all week!" he informed while pulling out the keys to the trailer from his pocket. Having been to the park a few times, twice when organizing the whole affair and renting it, and then the day before to put food and some other essentials that would be easier to avoid bringing when all their clothes and what not was being brought up. The Irish gentlemen tossed the keys to his darling wife, assuming she'd want to get cosy and look around the inside at once. "You get comfortable, I'm going to grab our things."

Kendra caught the keys and clutched them tight for a moment before taking off to the trailer. She wasn't one to ask if he needed help, he he said he was going to bring in the luggage that was his choice. Sliding the key into the lock Kendra twisted it left and pushed the door open. "Oh Alex..." She breathed, it was very rustic inside, in a nice sort of way that said, your in the woods while still being in the most stylish accommodations you could be in. The only problem was that it was not heated... and being so close to Canada it would be cold at night.

While she was checking out the inside, Alex was picking up what appeared to be fair more then what was needing for a week's vacation in luggage, he was more then strong enough to carry the lot of it at once, the hard part was just carrying it all at once, positioning it and what not, balancing it. "What?" he called in, while bringing in the luggage.
Depositing it in the bedroom, which seemed to be a miracle a double bed fit in their, not due to the beds size, more so the room just being teeny. Emerging, he walked up behind his wife, wrapping his arms around her waist and popping his head over her right shoulder. "So we approve?"

"very much so." Kendra said, snuggling back into her husbands chest. "I'm so glad we have a shower, and a stove, and a bed." She smiled big. "And we're far away from everything and every one that wants to bother us."
Oh how glad she was that there wouldn't be any knocks on their door looking for Alex to spar in some martial arts with one of students.

"Well of course we have them! I'm not letting you get rusty on your wifely duties!" he replied, before planting a quick kiss on her cheek. "Now why don't you put on some coffee or something, while I get the rest of the stuff in, and put it away somewhere?" asked her husband before moving away to hop outside and grab the last of their baggage from the jeep.

Kendra swatted his behind on the way out the door, he was such a cheeky rascal, but she wouldn't have him any other way. Moving over to the kitchenette she found the coffee pot before giving it a look over, it was an older model but making coffee wasn't rockets science. She looked in the box of food on the counter she'd remembered him saying he had brought down and found the coffee grounds. After measuring out the right amount and filling the back with water she turned it on and walked to the door. "Need any help?" She called, taking a deep breath of fresh air.

"Nope, I got it." he informed. "As it would turn out.....super strength makes lifting things really easy." continued Alexander, as he brought in the last of it, before glancing around as to where to put it.....the bedroom was space deprived enough without Kendra's collection of Paris catwalk themed money black holes. "Okay.....I can put some stuff in this closet..." he informed, gesturing to what could be called a closet across from the stove.
"But the rest...and by rest I mean most of it will have to be left in the cases and put under the seats or back into the jeep.....should I try predict what you'll want soon or will I just put everything on the bed and let you go through it later...." asked the Irish gent, with his pondering look on his face.

She thought for a moment. Walking over to him she took her toiletries and make up cases and brought them to the bathroom, then looked at the two suitcases she had left. "Will they fit in that closet?" She asked, wondering why these places were always so cramped when you put your luggage in them. Kendra put both hands on her hips and looked at Alex with a worried look. "But then where will we put your stuff?"

"Well the suitcases won't fit, but we can hang up a few things....and there's plenty of space for things that don't need to be hung up....I can put my things in the jeep, get them each morning....well I can put a few pairs of jeans and some t-shirts here....get underwear every morning before I shower." He didn't mind walking the twenty feet or so from the trailer to the jeep for some under wear.
"Besides....once we've gone through a few things we can just put away all the dirty things and put up fresh stuff." There was a washing machine room shed somewhere....but that would be Kendra's job.

Kendra nodded, she knew he would want her to wash his clothes, and she'd brought more than enough clothing for her self, so this trip should be minimal work. Looking over at him she took a deep breath and smiled. "So what do we do first now that we've got just the two of us?"

When she asked what they wanted to do....he switched on his Irish charm, sauntered across the short distance between them. "Well...." he practically purred "Since its just the two of us....." he said while wrapped his arms around her waist and tugging her close. "The water just finished boiling, you know how I take it." That being black with two sugars. His arms came away from his wife, so he could move over to the couch, dropping down and pulling up the t.v. remote. "We can explore the park in a little while...but I'm just after a really long drive love."

Kendra sent a little glare his way as he pulled up the little TV. "Darling, I know how badly you want it." She said walking over to the TV and leaning against it toying with the rabbit ears on the top. "But you know as well as I do that this place doesn't have any cable, and on top of that," She used one finger to move the little TV antennae and pushed it just a tad for emphasis. "Six years ago they made non digital televisions obsolete, this little darling just doesn't work." Sauntering seductively over to the coffee pot she poured him a cup of coffee and poured in two sugars then ran her finger over the rim waiting for his answer.

"Damnations.....you're right...." replied Alexander as he tried to flick between channels, getting absolutely no progress. How had he missed this digital television business? "Alright.....just the coffee will do then....what'cha want to do afterwards?" he asked, kicking his boots off and putting his feet up on the couch across the way from him as he held out a hand, hoping his darling wife would hand him his coffee.
