"Yeah that's right." Oh yeah, he was the business. Alexander Linton-Davis was good to his woman. So when her hand came up to guide the ice cream in, he let his hand slide it into place. Giving her a moment to get the ice-cream from the spoon he withdrew it again, before sending the spoon back to the bowl to get some more.
"Hey do you know what we should do? In a few weeks there's a new show in town, its Phantom of the Opera." Alex knew his gal loved her music things. "But not just any....its a rock opera production!" He also loved his rock. Of course he wouldn't go to normal Phantom of the Opera.....he wasn't gay.

Kendra looked up hopefully and then her face fell with the words 'rock opera production'. "Whose putting it on?" She asked, hesitantly. She prayed to what ever powers at be that he hadn't already bought the tickets. He tended to like to surprise her... with things he felt met half way between their interests, which in the end neither one of them liked.

"I dunno." Why would he know who was putting it on? "Some drama group who are also wannabe rockstars I guess." But yes...it was a pretty great compromise on interests. He liked to surprise her like that, even thought often enough it ended up being her kind of thing anyway and he was rather bored but.....she liked it when he made the effort to do stuff like that so he put up with it for her. He was a good partner that way.
"Now....open up for the ice cream." informed the Mass Acad language teacher as he scooped up the spoon and brought it towards his wifes mouth, taking great entertainment in making "the airplane noise" as he guided it in towards its landing destination.

Opening up Kendra took the ice-cream and indulged in it's sweetness. Oh how she loved having that magic metabolism, she could literally eat all the time and not gain a pound. It was great.
"So, would you rather have a girl or a boy..." Kendra mused for a moment. Little hypothetical questions which were always lingering on her mind these days were begging to be answered.

"A boy...duh." As if that had to be asked. Alex couldn't handle raising a girl, it would be all like.....first the being all gentle with her so she wouldn't cry. Then when she hit her dating years....he way could he handle that. The prospect of his daughter being approaching by someone like him, hoping to do nothing more then defile her. No...no he couldn't handle that. He'd have to reset his "days since I murdered someone" calender.
"Why, do you not want a boy? Because if you don't want a boy, I'm cutting off your access to the credit card." He continued with a sagely nod. This was quickly covered up by bringing up another spoon of ice cream, once again accompanied by airplane soundeffects.

After swallowing the icecream Kendra cleared her throat. "I'd be happy with anything, but I'd love to have a little girl, to dress up in all those cute clothes, and to take shopping with me. Oh she'd be so cute, like a little doll." Kendra would love that, another human being to dress in designer clothing. Oh she'd adorable.

"Well its good to know if this doesn't work out I can just buy you a doll and you'll be basically good to go." Or adopt, they could consider that if the doll thing fell through. "But....you know what this means. No more credit card for you. I'm a man of my word." He was also a man of finding excuses to keep his hard earned money...sure there was nothing like spending all day working only to find out your wife has spent basically all of it on a single dress she'd probably wear once...but your too tired to argue and then she's batting her eyes.
Yeah....fun.

Kendra pouted. "Fine, no credit card for me, no more sexy times for you." She said in her best fake upset voice. Besides, she could hold out until he got his fertility test any way. She didn't have to do anything that wouldn't warrant her a dress.

"Oh I'm still getting sexy times. Way I see it, I can still get the good hookers and it'll cost me less then your next winter warddrobe, so its win win for me." He had been watching Two and a Half Men, what a great show. That Charlie made prostitutes out to be so casual, like going out for a round of golf. If only the real world was like that.
With that, he brought up another spoon of ice-cream for her, bowl was nearly empty. He'd have to refill soon, assuming she wanted more ice-cream.

Kendra crossed her arms. "You'll also land your self an expensive divorce, which will cost you ten times more than my winter wardrobe and your prostitutes combined." Oh she knew how to milk that legal battle oh so well, she would get him for everything he was worth, she could play the emotionally abusive card, the he cheated on me card, oh she had a full deck to play if she really wanted to blow anything and everything he'd ever done out of proportion. And then she'd take his car and money and be gone into the night. He really didn't want to play that game.

"You can try that, but I'll play the claim I have a prenup card and Emma's telepathy help me out card...after the case I'll play the sex-tape hits the internet card." Alex did love his camera work. Maybe it was an ego thing, but he liked the whole camera thing. Had he ever actually re-watched one of those tapes? Barely ever, most not at all.
"Besides, you can't afford a long drawn out case, cause all your money is like...my money." Oh he had tricks up his own sleeve.....that was most of them however.

Kendra stood up in a huff. He didn't want to play this game with her. She would would not put up with it. Walking back into the sower Kendra slammed the door and locked it, starting up the shower she waited. If he were any sort of man he'd come after her.
