Admin Note: Due to this character being used only very briefly, staff will allow the character to be "retconned" from site history, and the following app is open to full modification.
Name: Rachel Anne Summers
Age: 17
Place of Birth: Alternate Reality
Applying too: (Xaviers)
In what capacity: (Student)
Family: Jean Grey (Mother)
Scott Summers (Father)
X-man (technical AU brother)
Height: 5'6''
Weight: 120 lbs.
Appearance:
Skills:
Lockpicking
knowledge and use of advanced technology and weapons
skills in repairing engines
Personality:
Rachel is very much like her mother. The typical heroine, girl next door kind of aspect to her. She enjoys life, is generally upbeat, willing to try all kinds of things just to try them, and isn't afraid of much.
On that same note, though she's quite outgoing with people she is still the type to keep her emotions to herself. Generally for varying reasons, sometimes for the sake of other peoples emotions, its mostly situation based.
The exception to this rule is her anger, which can flash up very easily depending. She can hold a certain amount in, but once it reaches that valve she blows a casket in (again) a stereotypical firey redhead way.
While in this universe, she's more than willing to give people a chance, though may admittedly be a little biased due to her home universe. Certain bad guys in her world may be good guys in this one, so naturally she would be inclined to distrust them.
She doesn't like people who take advantage of others, or harm them. In a sort its a protect the weak sort of complex.
She is both afraid and accepting of the Phoenix Force, when she possesses it. At the same time as this, she fears using her powers to a higher extent than normal use, but she's willing to do it of course.

SHORT LIST
-Telepathy
-Telekinesis
TELEPATHY
With her telepathy, Rachel is able to read minds, project her thoughts into others, and form mind-links with others. Due to the massive potential, distance isn't usually an issue when using her telepathy, but the further she goes the more concentration it takes.
Rachel is training to hone her abilities to locate mutants based off of their thought patterns. However this skill is not yet near adept.
She IS, however, able to do other techniques much like many other telepaths, simply to a bigger degree. She can shield her mind from other telepaths, create illusions, and create sensory invisibility.
When it comes to the mind, she has shown potential to edit memories, control and repair minds, swap minds from one body to another, and the sense and manipulate residual energy left in objects and places in order to generate psychic manifestations in the form of psychometric recreations of past events.
TELEKINESIS
Using telekinesis, Rachel is able to create force fields, levitate and fly at increased speeds, fire psionic force blasts in a concussive manner, due to the ability to manipulate matter down to the atomic level.
Weaknesses:
- She's a bit afraid of the phoenix force as well as the full strength of her powers, so she doesn't use them to their full extent.
- Magic seems to have a slightly nullifying effect on her telekinesis.
- Many telepaths (ie. Jean Grey, Emma Frost) can outdo her in many aspects due to their honed skills over her brute potential.
History:
Rachel Summers is the daughter of Scott Summers and Jean Grey, Cyclops and Phoenix, on Earth-811 (Days of Future Past), Her reality diverged from the regular timeline when Senator Robert Kelly was assassinated by the Brotherhood Of Evil Mutants. In her world, this event caused the mutant/human relations to escalate to the point that an anti-mutant candidate won the next presidential election. He put forth the legislation that brought the giant mutant hunting robots known as the Sentinels. The goal was to eliminate all mutants. The Sentinels adapted and decided the best way to do so was to take over North America. They did not stop with just mutants. Several super-powered humans were also killed or imprisoned.
When Rachel was a child, the X-Men's base, Xavier Institute for Higher Learning, was attacked. Rachel was the only survivor. Rachel was taken and brainwashed. Using her psionic powers, Rachel became a mutant "hound" and tracked down other mutants. Her face was tattooed with the mark of a hound. Rachel was even forced to kill some of her fellow mutants.
After some time, when her use ran out, Rachel ended up at a mutant Containment Facility. Here she found other surviving X-men, and was tricked into tapping into the Phoenix force. In a moment of pure panic, she used her powers uncontrolled and accidentally found herself in a universe that was not her own. Her mother, Jean, a mere few years older than she herself was.
With full intention to leave this strange universe and go back to her own, Rachel discovered that she was missing one key element to it. The phoenix force. For an unknown reason in this place she found herself unable to connect with it at all.
Now trapped in a strange, unsure place Rachel will be put to the test. Will she stay in this time, risk trying to go back to her own, stay at Xaviers with her 'parents'
