The headmistress of the Massachusetts Academy had been slightly stressed, this was very unnatural. Emma Frost never worried about things, but this was one of those times she needed to buckle down and get to work. Her numbers were getting lower, according to a source, and Xavier had more students enrolled at his school than her. This would greatly dissapoint her elders.
But as any woman of her intelligence would, she recruited the help of her staff. The teachers, most of them mutants themselves, would understand her seemingly trite rivarly with the other academy. The first on her list was Alexander Linton Davis. He was the current Irish teacher and a former Genosha resident. He might have some ideas on how to attract more students.
Emma stood up and looked at the glass clock that overlooked her desk. It was 5 til 3. His class should have ended a few minutes ago. She ran her hands over her white dress, to smooth out the silky fabric. It was one of her more conservative outfits, but it still showed quite a bit of leg.

Alexander Linton-Davis, born and and raised for the most part in Ireland, before being brought to Genosha as a young and confused mutant teenager, now in America where he worked as a teacher in the Massachusetts Academy, under Headmistress Emma Frost, a woman as mentally brilliant as she was beautiful.
While Alex could easily move across a room, catching bullets before throwing a lorry on a person, it was just a matter of a thought to a person like her to break someone mentally. There was something....extra attractive as a woman with power like that. But her power was not the reason he was making his way to her office, she wanted to, if he remembered correctly, discuss possible tactics to bring in more mutants.
He arrived at her office door, knocking for a quick moment before letting himself in, she was expecting him after all. "Emma, how are we today?" he asked, closing the door behind him. The Irish gentleman took a seat across from Emma, one ankle resting on the knee of his other leg, back resting comfortable into the chair.

Emma looked up at the sound of a knock on her door, the blonde woman looked down at her high heeled shoes. When Alexander walked into her office, Emma smiled and motioned for him to take a seat on the chair across from her desk. The headmistress also took a seat and ran her hands through her hair.
"I was just wondering when you were going to get here." she said casually while crossing her slightly tanned legs under her desk.
"How is your class going? Hopefully no disturbances." she said. Emma had no tolerance for practical jokes when her students were supposed to be studying. There was a time and place for those things- in accedemics classes it wasn't.

"No no, everything has been fine." he replied, and it has been, perhaps the students liked him, was he the legendary cool teacher? More then likely. Of course he was cool. While the meeting was a business thing quite technically, he wasn't very fond of that, and there was no reason not to make the atmosphere more comfortable. He glanced across the room, spotting a cabinet, very nicely ordered of course, with a small but very fine selection of quality alcohol.
"Mind if I get us something?" he asked, nodding his head over towards the cabinet. Besides, a nice drink would help them mull over things....and to be perfectly honest he was in a real mood for a drink.

"Ofcourse help yourself. Mind you there is a vintage whiskey in there. Its unopened." she said while remembering that she had her favorite vodka in there too. Emma got up and waited for Alexander to finish before she took a circular glass and poured some for herself. There was never such a thing as over indulging when it came to drinking.
"Well I remembered that you used to live in Genosha. I know that Magento preached a perfect safe haven for them. " she said, getting right ot buisness. Emma wanted to be direct.
"What I was wanted to know is what would be a good hook for these children?" she asked while taking a sip from her glass. Emma wanted to be the best and to be the best she needed the best.

When the request was granted Alexander rose from the seat and made his way to the cabinet, noticing Emma approaching it as well, he poured himself a glass of the whiskey she mentioned, she had excusite taste, although he couldn't imagine her drinking whiskey, must have been for company.
"Security, that's the absolute best thing you can provide, security. Every day the news is ranting about human, mutant crime, people wanting mutants dragged out into the open and.....registering our abilities. We're the new blacks or jews, everyone seems to be putting their differences aside to persecute us." he explained, going back to the seat, tasting the whiskey, it was damn fine whiskey indeed.

Emma nodded while listening to Primarch's proposal. Selling security would be the best bet for her institute, it would be the most productive. Selling security was feeding on people's fear and Emma knew how to use that very well. Her mind ran to commercials and other promotions that the institute would benefit the Academy. She was so excited to expand her little club.
"That sounds like a very attractive approach." Emma said while placing her chin in her hand. She could have thought that, but she wanted to know what the other teachers thought. After all they were the ones that met with the children on a dailiy basis. The headmistress made a mental note to make her rounds more often. She did like to meet with her students, the first class in particular.
"Thank you for your input." she said with a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes.

"Where you hoping for something else?" he asked, noticing what one would not describe as an award winning smile, lacking the approval from the eyes. For a telepath she wasn't very good at hiding her thoughts, or feelings rather. Not in this instance however.
"Or is something else the matter?" he asked, taking a sip from his drink again, not rushing something so fine that most certainly had to be taken at a pace.

Emma blinked at his comment. Was something else bothering her, yes there was something. She had been having weird dreams lately. Right in the middle of her scenic exploration on the Pacific ocean, a storm brewed in the distance and a red blurr appeared like a tornado and blew her off her cruise ship. Now Emma was an adpet swimmer, but seemed to be drowning in this water. It was thicker and had a reddish tint, just as the tornado had. Emma got shivers down her spine as she thought about it.
"Well I haven't been sleeping very well. But its nothing." she assured, "I've been stressed, more than I'd like to admit. With us going public, I've struggled with letting my powers being known. I'm sure that my shareholders wouldn't like that one bit. But who knows."
Her family owned corporation was a multimillionare buisness. She had gained respect in the buisness world through her father's legacy and wondered if she'd loose it all if they knew she was a mutant.

"If there's anything I can do to help you out, let me know. There's not many of us, we have to stick together." he had his own worries when it came to the mutants being public, Magneto had practically declared war on America, Alex, as a former member of the Brotherhood, could be labelled a former terrorist and a mutant if things went all out in public.
"That, and you always have the rest of your staff to call upon." he continued. "You might even consider using some of your resources to organise events that might help mutants on a local level, shelters for mutants in danger, it could be done in total public, making you appear a good Samaritan, and when the cameras aren't rolling, we help mutants come to the Academy."

"Those are all good ideas. I do want to keep the mutant public safe." Emma said more to herself than to Alex. It was a good idea. She certainly did have the resources to fund a shelter for mutants. But then it ran the risk of being looted and attacked. She would need someone trustworthy and powerful to run it. Emma was too preoccupied with the Academy and teaching her students than feeding the homeless.
"I will definitely think about those." she said taking another sip of her drink. That was true also. She could ask the other teachers what their opinions were.
"On another note. I've been thinking that we need to add sexual education to the schedule. The students seem to be rather active. Would you be interested in teaching that?" she asked, knowing that he wasn't the type.

"I think its safe to say its a primary concern to both of us." he replied, sipping away at the drink, wondering if there was any way he'd be able to aid mutants outside the school. Nothing much came to mind, short of training the crap out of the Hellions, so if anything major went on, they could respond and protect the people that needed protecting.
He nearly coughed up his drink when Emma asked if he'd teach sex ed. "I'm not sure Emma, am I really the most suitable person to teach that?" Alex was constantly looking for the next person to jump into bed with, besides, aside from the classes he already taught, he was head of both the Kick Boxing society and the music society, the kids would be sick of him.

"Thats quite alright. It was just a suggestion. I think that Van Damme would be better for the job. It would be amusing to see how he approached the subject." she said. He did afterall have a daughter about the age of a girl that would need this class. She would have to speak him laters about her new class for him.
"I hear you have opened up a few clubs, Boxing and Music. Those are vastly different, but I'm sure that you'll find the students enjoying the boxing class more. " she said in a light conversational tone. Emma thought about her first class and wondered if she should have more training with them. Surely her students would jump at the chance to prove their abilities.
"Have you thought about taking on a training group? Ares has one and there are plenty of other students that would like the chance to compete." she said.

"I could take on a training group, but are you sure you want ex-Brotherhood training your students in group tactics and self defence?" He asked, Alexander couldn't help but feel there were a few people who slept with proverbial daggers under their pillows at the idea one of Magneto's chosen was now living with them, and even teaching them how to function as a team of super humans. Still, he was honoured that Emma would choose him over the others to lead the next team.

"Of course. You shouldn't be thought of as who you were previously affiliated with. I was once a stripper, but I'm now a headmistress. I can assure you that I'm not thought of as an unfit headmistress, that is of the ones who matter." she said gently.
"At the growing rate of the students coming in here, most of the other teachers should get their own groups. I thought that with your training, you would be the 3rd teacher." she meant this as a compliment. Frost knew the prejudice against the different factions and even harboured some of them herself.
"It would be good to start some new changes around here."
