As yes, Ms. Frost used to work on a pole, a delightful thought he'd try keep in the back of his head until later on. A stripper turned Headmistress, he was pretty sure he had once seen a porno about that. Was probably best that part of her life story wasn't told to the male students. "True, all true." he replied with a casual smile.
A moment later he raised his glass to Emma, he was a former Brotherhood turned teacher to the Hellions, she was a former stripper turned Headmistress to the Hellions, and now they were discussing various ways they could help local mutants in a bad place. "To change!" he offered as a toast, he seemed suiting.

Emma held up her glass up to him and said "To Change.". This would be something new, something her school needed. The headmistress took a sip of her well liked vodka and smirked at the man across from her.
She didn't like to read the minds of her staff, but the occasional thought did enter her mind. Prim had been thinking about her earlier profession.
"Mr. Linton-Davis you almost make me blush." she grinned.

As Emma drank her Vodka to the toast, Alex drank deep from his glass of whiskey, not much remaining, a shame. The best things in life rarely last long enough, made them all the more previous. "Ms. Frost, were you in my head? I was trying to block my thoughts and everything, how bold." he replied with a smile, before putting the glass towards his lips again.
"See anything else in there you liked?" he asked with a smirk, what else had she seen in his head? The labs in Genosha that had cracked the secrets of using algae to produce cheap and clean fuel for cars? The first or even the most recent time he made love to someone? The thoughts that had been in his head when he first arrived at the Academy? The thoughts when he first met Emma.

Emma slammed any mental connection she had and put her hands on her temples. This was why she didn't like to be in other's minds. Everyone had little things they had to deal with, some of them were more horrible than others. Her gift was a gift and a sin, mostly at the same time.
"Excuse me. I'm not usually this carefree with my power. I've been preoccupied lately." she admitted. Emma didn't want to jeapordize her authority because she didn' thave any selfcontrol.
The woman rose her eyebrow as he asked if she saw anything that interested her. Did she? No not that she couldn't live without. A few stray thoughts here and there, but none of that mattered to her.
"I didn't stray far enough to get that far." she smiled.

"Want too?" he asked, taking another sip of the whiskey, emptying the glass now before setting it down gently. "Want to go on a telepathic journey of discovery and see what makes The Primarch tick?" continued the Irish teacher, one hand running across his chin now.
"Want to feel the exhilaration of the first time I realised I could break the speed of sound, and flew across the Genoshan skyline? Or maybe even the difficulty of shaking someone's hand being relaxed still means the wrong slip up can knock down a wall?"

Emma did think about diving into Alexander's mind, but reasoned against it. The sheer impulse that thought it would be okay for her to, even with permission, went away. Getting a free pass into someone's mind was like putting the Hope diamond iinfront of a theif, sure they'd take it, but the challenge and fun was taken out of it.
She was curious to see what she'd uncover, but she didn't want to find something that she disliked. That was the down side of telepathy, she uncovered things she wished would stay burried. Emma rather skim the surface of his mind for now.
"You know that I would love to see what makes you tick," she smirked while projecting her thoughts into his, " but I don't think that I will just yet." she said out loud. Emma looked at the teacher and winked.
"I like to find out the more traditional way before I get up close and personal with your mind."

"Oh Ms. Frost, you're going to scandalise me, you know that?" he replied with a smile, staying where he was for a moment, before rising from his seat. "You need a refill?" he offered, holding up his own glass to highlight its emptiness.

"Thank you, I would" she said with a satisfied smirk. Emma didn't liked to let her emotions rule her actions. The blonde woman placed her glass on the desk and let out a drawn sigh. She really should invest in one of those sleeping medications. Maybe it would cure her insomnia or what ever it was.

Alexander picked up Emma's glass, taking both hers and his own over to the little cabinet with the drinks, refilling them in a manner only someone who had poured hundreds of drinks over the last few months could. If it wasn't for the fact that he basically couldn't get drunk, he'd be quite the alcoholic.
"You are tired aren't you?" he asked, noticing the sigh a few moments before he put her drink back down. He had to refrain from thinking about how he could guarantee her a good nights sleep.

Emma was in a terrible mood. Her head ached and she couldn't get a good nights rest. This had to be something more than just a bad reaction to a drink. Emma took the drink Alex put back on her desk, full this time. She took a greatful sip and looked back up at him with her icy blue eyes.
"Quite. Its been a task running a school with so many mutants- but one that I enjoy." the headmistress added, while wondering why she was confiding in one of her teachers. Emma did need to find other friends outside the Academy. It seemed that lately this school was taking up most of her time and energy.
