Sitting down at the main computer in the back of the classroom he smiled as he logged onto his server account and shut down the internet from being accessible by blocking port 80 in the firewall. Nodding happily after that he closed down and walked his classroom. So far everything looked good and he quickly pulled his hair back to make sure it wasn't wild today. Taking a breath remembering someone once telling him students could smell fear, he released the breath slowly as he stood at the podium at the front of the class with the laptop near by. Turning on the smart board he calibrated it quickly to make sure it would work properly for class, the same thing he has done now for a few hours. He wasn't sure how many students were supposed to show up since he didn't have an official roll sheet, but he would make due with who ever came into class.
With a few things he wanted to talk about before they really got started on the lecture today he just wanted them to understand his expectations for the class and how he expected things to go. At least he hoped it would work out well. First day and all wasn't one of his best days by far in any other job he might have done before. So he opened the door and used a door jam to keep it open. "Well, here goes everything." whispered under his breath.

His first class in his new school and it was computers. He actually didn't much care for the internet except to get information on animals and to help with his homework. Well youtube and some of the places you can watch shows were good, and he had one email account, but he didn't even have MSN or facebook. He was used to meeting up with his friends and hanging out that way. Still he supposed it would be good to keep up with computers on a certain level, it could be a job one day. He never knew maybe he'll be able to come up with something for his father to add to the family business. Either way it was a class and he had to go, or Nans would find out and kick his ass.
Chance scratched the back of his head as he walked in. At least he was dressed and had breakfast. However he was wishing he could have brought some coffee with him. He looked over a the teacher. "Hey, Teach." Then he dropped down in a seat in the middle of the classroom and stretched his legs out, waiting for class to begin.

She was late! Or at least that's what her clock told her. She had no idea that it was in fact... Very fast. So that was what had the young girl's heart racing as she sped down the hall, quickly trying to keep her emotions in check as well as get to class now. This was her first class and she was about to be late for it! She rushed along without anything, no books, nothing. But it was computer class so she didn't figure she'd need anything.
Well as soon as she thought of her books back in her room, trying to remember if she needed one, her control slipped. Not that it was very strong to begin with... No no no! Before she knew it white fur was sprouting and she was shrinking. Darnet why did it have to be this form... Soon enough, instead of the pretty little red headed girl running through the halls, there was a white colored rabbit... Indeed she recognized it, she had a rabbit as a child... She growled inwardly but continued on, not having time to go back to her room and calm down.
So there she was, bounding through the halls until she bounded right into the classroom, likely giving the teacher and anyone inside a surprise... She sighed slightly as she glanced around in this little rabbit form and hopped over to a chair on the edge of one of the rows. She stole the seat closest to a wall and hopped up into the chair. She glanced up and looked around, seeing Chance. Well... He had seen her in a different form before, though if she were human at the moment, she would have turned a bright pink.
Great start to the class Dakota... Great start. Well she would now work on calming herself down considering she was actually quite early and all this fright on her part had been entirely unnecessary... She grumbled quietly to herself, which to them would merely sound like she was grinding her long rabbit teeth and maybe giving a light chittering sound.

Looking up he was rather surprised when a student already entered the lab room so early. But, he chuckled as he heard the words "Hey Teach," well manners were decent if vocabulary was rather singular. "Good morning to you as well, we will be starting class here in a little bit, just going to give time for all the........"
Okay there wasn't many things in this world that would stun, or stop him. Yet having a white rabbit hop into his class and take a seat was a bit more than he was used too; now he didn't disgrace himself. Yet, it did take him a moment to regain his composure. "Hello to you as well, but I suggest you figure out how to have two feet and two hands, preferably with opposable thumbs. If you do insist on using the rabbit form, I will insist on having rabbit stew for dinner. Do we have an understanding?"
Turning towards the white board he pulled out a blue magic marker and wrote down 'Mr. Morgana' upon the board.

Chance nodded to the teacher and then looked over at the rabbit. He knew exactly who it was and he grinned a bit. Leave it to Cutie to make an entrance. His brow went up at the teacher's words and he sighed. He knew the little one was just nervous as hell and couldn't really control herself. "I got it, Tea... Mr. Morgana." Chance got up and went over to Dakota and knelt down beside her desk. He started to stroke her back, much like when they first met. "Don't worry, White Rabbit, you weren't late for a very important date. Actually, we are both kind of early. Just breathe and relax." The words were said low and soft as he continued to stroke her back.

Maya looked at her schedule for the start of her year. Even though she was 19, she still liked to learn. She didn't really get her formal degree from her previous school. Not many colleges would accept a 4.0 in ballet classes. This computer class was however her first one ever. She'd been around computers before, she had an email address, but never had the urge to eat up hours of her time on Facebook and those silly games. There were far better things in this reality to be wasting time in Cyberspace.
But this was the compute age and Maya wanted to know how to work with them. The teen strolled into the classroom- wearing a simple blue and white dress- that was supposed to be the computer lab. She stopped for a second, seeing the teacher and two other students. One of them was a white rabbit and the other a boy. Maya's eyes darted to the empty seats and took on in the second row, off the the right. The teen let out a small sigh, not realizing she had been holding her breath.
"Hullo" she greeted the teacher, who looked a little nervous himself. Maya read the lips of her teacher as he addressed white rabbit. When the boy walked over to the rabbit and stroked her back, Maya suddenly felt a little uncomfortable. So the mutant busied her self by organizing her black bag of books.

He looks up at the new girl to walk in the door and smiles as he welcomes her to class. Looking up at the clock the smile is gone from his face in a flash. "Good morning every one, this is the beginning of your computer education. I don't care how you act in any other Teachers classes, if you want to goof off..." points to the door. "I don't have the time, or the desire to deal with it. Since you three were kind enough to be on time, you will receive full marks, don't show up late for my class, otherwise the best you will get is a 75% on any assignments due today. If you notice you have computers in front of you and none of them have been turned on. You turn one on...." points to the door. "This is my class and my rules, this classroom is a dictatorship, and I'm the Supreme Dick." Smiles at them, and chuckles a bit himself.
"Today we will begin with chapter one in your books, and Miss Lola Bunny, I suggest you get opposable thumbs quickly." He smiles again as he turns to the board and starts to put up notes. "If I write it on the board, it better be in your notes." He starts his lecture writing key points as he goes.

Flicks those long ears back for a moment as she heard the silence that greeted her odd entrance. But she was certainly self conscious about this... She could obviously not yet control her power, and it showed very well. She remained crouched in the seat for a moment, trying to blend in with the wall or something... Yea right... White rabbit... She really wasn't going to blend in very many places. She chittered softly to herself trying hard to take deep breaths and calm her rapidly beating rabbit heart.
She looked up suddenly as her long ears picked up a familiar voice. She tried hard to place it, and suddenly winced inwardly. Right... That's right! This was the teacher she had met in the Rec room when she was breaking curfew... Totally not really her fault but still... Great job Kota... Make an even worse impression on him. Goodness the little girl half didn't even want to change back... But the words he spoke rang true. She would need hands and feet for this class... Well any class really... But dang! Now she had told the professor about her power, so it was likely he already knew it was her, and yet all she wanted to do was either dissapear, or hop right back out of class.
Now, soon enough that thought was driven out as she heard Chance make his way over. She looked up to him as soon as she felt his touch against her back. She moved a bit to nuzzle lightly against him. Indeed, physical touch was often such a great aid in calming the young girl... And so, sitting beside him so close, she would speed up the process in which she calmed. She looked up to him and would have grinned at his comment, albeit sheepishly... But that was kind of difficult being that she was a rabbit.
However, soon enough, she would regain her composure just a bit. Well... Enough that she could change her shape again. She took a deep breath and started to shift her form. Relief spread through her as she found it was working, and before she knew it, she was, once again in her human form, sitting close to Chance. She glanced over to him, those sunglasses once again in place over those mismatched eyes and she smiled warmly to him. "Thanks Chance..." She said softly, nodding some. She still trembled just a little bit, but held it in much better. "I thought for sure I was late, so I panicked..."
She looked up and saw the other girl. She hadn't seen her come in, but now she smiled shyly to her, uncertain on how she would take this. But... She was at a Mutant acadamy, so it wasn't likely to be a big deal. She looked back to the back of the class to the professor and gave a slightly cheeky grin. "Sorry sir... No rabbit stew for you tonight." She grinned a bit and shook her head some. She was a very brilliant shade of pink. It always embarrased her to loose control of her powers... But it often happened, one would think she would get used to it. She smiled a little bit to the others before looking back to Chance, that smile warming quite a bit, before she clasped her hands gently in her lap. "I'm working on it... Really I am..." She said low enough, that likely only Chance would have heard it clearly.
Soon enough she heard the teacher start up the class and she winced, her eyes widening some at his direct approach. She bit her lip as she had not brought anything with her, obviously... She had run in in bunny form. Panic spread across her face. Great... Just as she had finally calmed herself... And yet she looked down, focusing on her breathing to keep herself calm. She glanced over at Chance, turning a brighter shade of pink as she whispered his way. "Could I borrow a piece of paper and a pencil for today please..." She winced as she didn't have her book either. How could she have been so silly. Oh wait... She panicked and thought she was late... That's right.

Chance's attention turned toward the girl that just walked in and he gave her a grin and a wink. He looked as Dakota went back to looking human and nodded in satisfaction. "Just keep remembering to breathe." His attention turned to the teacher and he swallowed a sigh. This class was going to be a buzz kill. Chance sat down and handed the little one a piece of paper and a pencil. "Here you go, Sweets." Then his attention turned back to the teacher. He had a funny feeling he wouldn't be able to pull of his normal schtick here. That was a bummer.

Maya blinked as the teacher started his speech. It was easy to understand what he was saying. She pursed her lips together when he said his little joke, trying to hold back a smile. It made her laugh at the way teachers tried to be their friends yet the authoritative figure.
The mutant looked at the boy, who had winked at her and quickly looked back to her bag. She took out a notebook to start writing the things she saw the Mr. Morgana say. Maya had mastered the art of writing things wihtout ever looking at the page. Call her a girl of many talents.

Turning to face his class he chuckles brightly as he gets an evil grin on his face. "Okay if you look in front of you there are a few simple things, one is a box, one is a screwdriver, and the last is an ESD strap. Bonus points if anyone can tell me what ESD stands for." He really wasn't sure if any would, but he hoped at least one of the three would actually know. So he was willing to take a leap of faith on this one.
He pushed back his hair off his forehead and picked up the ESD strap in front of him. A simple nylon strap with a curly q cord attached to an alligator clip. He looked around, he wasn't going to do a lot on the first day, but he was going to push them for quiet a bit by the time he was done with his class lessons, they would hate him. He was sure of that, but when they were out of his class and stuck with a computer in front of them. They were going to be on their knees praising the memory of him.

Dakota would bite her lip a little as she nodded to Chance. Yes... She had to just keep breathing and keep calm. Goodness that wasn't easy for the girl, and with this teacher, it seemed it might be even harder... He seemed the strict type who didn't mind riling his students up... She sighed a little and shivered some, hoping she could keep her cool in this class. It would be a stretch, but of course she would try her best.
She smiled to Chance as he produced a pencil and a piece of paper. She would mouth a "thank you" to him as she would hurry to write down what Mr. Morgana had already written on the board. She glanced over to the other girl and smiled to her as she took down notes as well. She then glanced over to Chance and couldn't help but grin a little at the teacher's speach once she fully calmed down. She wondered how the other two were taking this. From what she knew of Chance so far he probably wouldn't like it... She didn't know the other girl at all yet.
She looked back at the teacher, then looked down at the table in front of her in confusion. She surveyed the items in front of her curiously, before glancing up at the Teacher. For the moemnt she kept her mouth shut, unsure what it was right off. Or perhaps she did know... Sure her parents had been more outdoorsy, but she knew a thing or two about computers... Not a whole lot but maybe a couple things... But in any case, she would remain silent, looking up at the teacher. Goodness he intimidated her a bit. He didn't so much as make her nervous when she ran into him last night, what was wrong with her now...

Chance let out a slow breath and started taking notes. This teacher was going to be a hardass and while in class Chance was pretty sure he was going to hate him with a passion. But there was something about the guy that made Chance think he was pretty cool. When the man asked his question, Chance's hand went up. He knew some stuff from his old school. He knew what ESD stood for and he knew what the strap was for. While he waited to see if he would be called on, not sure if blurting the answer out would be acceptable, Chance continued to take notes while keeping on an eye on Dakota.

Echo was completely clueless on anything regarding computers, except when she was being shown how to do something exactly. She could do anything once she was shown. However this raven haired teen had no clue to what a ESP cable was. She'd seen it before. It was what was connected to the computer and the power cord. Or the monitor. She had a labtop and knew that it just worked.
Maya looked over at the other two students. The girl looked just as clueless as her, but the guy looked like her knew the answer.

He had been looking for a few seconds when one of his students hand raised into the air. Thanking god for small favors he smiled at the young man. "Mr. Chance feel free and give the answer." He looked around his class while Chance explained the ESD strap to them. He would correct anything that needed to be done afterwards, but he hoped it didn't take much. He had planned an fairly in depth lecture on hard drives, but wasn't sure if he should start with something simpler.
He figured if this young man could answer his question correctly and possibly even make sure the rest of the class could understand him, he would go on, if not he would go on to something easier. So listening to his answer he took notes for anything he might have to correct and allowed the boy to speak.
