She did it... Dingo successfully snuck out of the acadamy... Sure enough, she wasn't certain if she wasn't supposed to be out right then, or be out alone... But she had let herself out and then shifted to her dingo form and headed out. Sure enough, she wasn't entirely sure she should be wandering around the streets in this form, but goodness there were weirder dogs... She wasn't a real big dingo either... And heck, she didn't figure a whole lot of people around here had truly seen a dingo... So she figured she was relitavely safe.
Now where was Dingo headed? She was making her way to the zoo. She was excited! She hadn't been to the zoo since she had been a kid... But she really wanted to go looking around for a while. She heard they just got Ligers! She really wanted to try out that form, so she was headed off to see them for herself. She grinned widely, her tail waving a bit as she glanced around her.
For the moment she was trotting down the streets, heading off toward the zoo. Of course she was darting down the street in broad daylight, in dingo form... Yea real smart there Dakota... Real smart indeed. But she was a 14 year old girl, and once determination hit her, she was stuck on an idea. She grinned a little to herself, congratulating herself on her own brilliance, though she really wasn't paying a whole lot of attention. Today was just a wonderful day, she was out and about by herself, and it didn't seem to her as if anyone would catch her. She'd be back before dark. Dingo hadn't been at the school long, but she could often dissapear for hours and hours on end taking naps, or wandering the grounds in some animal form or another. So as long as she was back by sundown, all would be well. Or so she thought...
(Okie yea so I moved the thread... I totally put it in the wrong set of streets lol. Dakota wouldn't be in New York lol.)

How he was in boston? He doesn't even know himself. The young man got two weeks off from work and he was wired on the drink 'coffee'. His body wasn't ready for the sudden intake of caffeine so he went 'wild' and had an urge to drive all the way to Boston. And on the way he had an in take of what kids called 'weed'. So he wasn't completely himself, he found himself laughing at cows, trees and random people, who didn't seem to take that well. But the young man didn't care he only cared about the muchies. This continued for another several hours until he was finally able to sober up.
Once sober, he looked around totally confused. He was in Boston and he was completely lost. So he goes to the nearest store to purchase a map. And when he walked out he sees a....Dingo? It was small enough to be seen as a dog. But remembering something he saw on the discovery channel, they had slightly different features. Did it get out of the zoo some how? Dingo's were known to attack to defend themselves, so he takes the duty of takeing the dingo back to the zoo. He walks back into the store and buys a couple of silm jim's and a hot dog. Then quickly rushed back out to lure the Dingo in. "Here, dingo...Here boy or girl. Come on I got a treat for you."

Dakota continued down the street, absolutely thrilled with her own brilliance. The day was bright and beautiful... There was nothing that could spoil it for her, she was sure. Well, suddenly she heard a loud rumble coming from her canine stomach. She winced inwardly. Why had she forgotten to eat in her hurry to escape... Well she sniffed a little bit, trying to catch the scent of any available food nearby. Yea... In dingo form that didn't work so well...
That was until she caught the delicious scent of a couple different kinds of meat. Her tail waved a bit as she looked around for the source. Well there it was... A guy with a hot dog and a couple of meat sticks. Ohhh just what she was in the mood for. Her tail waved eagerly, and yet she paused as she heard him speak. First of all... He knew she was a dingo... This wasn't good. Second of all, he called her boy or girl. Psh. She was a very feminine little dingo... Ah well. But third of all and more important to her at the moment... He had food. Well... Dakota was always a friendly one in whatever form she was in, so she would dart right over to him.
She would dart closer anyway, then approach him cautiously and carefully. She couldn't spend too much time with him, as she had a destination to get to. Little did she know, he wanted to take her to that same destination... But not for the same reason... Well for now she was rather focused upon this... Treat he offered her. Her tail waved a bit as she sniffed daintily at him, trying to seem as friendly as possible. She wanted that food... Goodness she was acting very un-dingo like... That may have been a tip off, and yet... Animals in the zoo were often a little more used to people than ones in the wild... Usually one wouldn't be able to pet it as Dakota would allow... But ah well.
Dingo would finally come right up to this stranger, wagging her tail and licking her chops, her gaze rather focused upon the hot dog in his hand. Yup... She had a goal and she was eager to meet it. Little did she know... So did he.

As he thought, the meat lured the dingo in like nothing. Though it approached him carefully and cautiously. He start began to think it was a wild dingo, that got lost from it group and ended up here. Wait, what was he thinking? There was a zoo near by and this is a city. He laughed to himself a bit thinking that. It's eyes were focused on the food and it's tail wagging happily. It was open and friendly to humans from what he guessed so it had to have come from a zoo.
"Whose a good girl!" He said in a cute voice he only used for animals, no one else ever seen him so gentle. The Young man was alway calm and seemed malicious at times, though he really wasn't. What he didn't know the dingo was really a mutant girl. "You are!" He place the hot dog so she an eat it. And while she was eatting he swooped her up with his free arm. And in case the dingo wanted to bite him he used a slim jim to feed it. "Awwh...Your so cute." The zoo was only a few blocks from here.
So he takes the dingo in his car keeping it at his lap, hoping it wouldn't fuss to much if he pet it behind the ears a bit. "I am going to take you home ok?" He said with a smile. He parked his car in the zoo parking lot. And carries her out. "Looky it's home."

Indeed, Dingo was rather focused upon the food in his hands... Although she was also focused on him... And yet the closer she got, the more focused on the food she got. Her tail waved a bit as she got closer and then glanced up to him once more. She tilted her head a little as he spoke in such a cutsey little voice... Inwardly she rolled her eyes, but wouldn't react much to it. All she wanted was to get the food and head off to the zoo. Yet the words did make her tail wag a bit more as she kept up the act of a dog. Indeed, if one really thought about it, even a dingo from the zoo wouldn't be this friendly...
But as soon as he would put the hot dog within her reach, she would daintily take it from his hand and begin to down it. She had just finished it, when she felt an arm loop under her belly. She yipped in surprise, and looked around in confusion. She didn't try to bite him, she was too shocked. She looked to him in confusion, shaking just a bit as he held her. Though she would eat the slim jim as well.
Soon she felt him carrying her into the car and placing her in his lap. Well of course she panicked a bit, looking around with widened eyes. Where was he taking her? He was taking her somewhere against her will! She shook with terror, though didn't thrash much. She looked out the window, her ears laid back as he said he was taking her home. She figured that mean to his home... Why was he being so nice if he was kidnapping her? She trembled all over still. And yet as she watched out the window, she saw where they were headed... The zoo! Well that's exactly where she needed to go!
She yipped in excitement as he parked and carried her out. Yet he was still carrying her... What was he... Oh no. He thought she was one of the animals that lived at the zoo! Oh great... She scrambled a bit, trying to get out of his arms, yipping a bit. She didn't want to be put in one of those cages! This wasn't good... This wasn't good at all.

The dingo was calm throughout the ride. Which pleased him for the most part. The dingo didn't eat the other silm jim, so he had to eats. And he really hated the taste of it. It was the greasy old bacon mixed with ham and other things. He felt bad that he made the Dingo eat it, hopefully it was be ok.
He had heard alot about the zoo. But never had a chance to acutally go. Because there weren't any near where he lived. There was something that threw him off, how it began to act when they came to the zoo. The dingo went crazy in his arms, enough that he had was forced to place it on the ground. He could of just shocked it, but he couldn't find it in himself to hurt an animal. "If you wanted that other Silm Jim it's too late now I ate it already, I'm sorry." He said noticing he was talking to an animal. He looked to the sky and chuckled a bit.
"Now I'm talking to animals. I think the caffeine is still in my system." When he looks back down. Something surpised him, that force his eyes to widen. He saw a penny with the face upward. It was his lucky day, he picks up the penny and looks at the Dingo. "Your home now aren't you excited?"

Indeed, Dakota had kept absolutely calm, or at least looked absolutely calm throughout the ride. Inside she was panicky, up until she saw just where they were going. Her tail waved a bit as she continued to gaze out the window, eager to get to the zoo. Yay! She would finally get her new forms. She wondered what all would be there and out and about. Now about that slim jim. As a dog, she very much enjoyed it... As a human? It wasn't likely that she would go near it.
She was so eager to get into the zoo... Untill Hiro started carrying her toward it. No no no! He was going to turn her over to the zookeepers! She needed to get calm so she could shift back! She did, indeed, thrash around a bit in his arms until he put her down. She was thankful he didn't use his powers against her, not that she knew he was a mutant... That was another thing... She couldn't shift back in front of him! Especially if he was not a mutant! She had been told this... Never use your powers in front of normal people... She soon heard his next words and tilted her head to the side in confusion. This definately was not about the slim jim.
But now that he had set her down and wasn't moving to take her into the zoo, she was slowly calming down. She lowered her head slightly and seated herself. She watched as he found the face up penny and smiled to herself. Her tail waved a bit at his comment. Well she was excited to be at the zoo, though it wasn't her home. But now she found herself to be calming down considerably and wondered if she could shift back... And yet... What if he was just a normal human... But what if he wasn't? She couldn't let him turn her over to the zookeepers. She finally sighed and glanced around the empty parking lot. She would move over to nuzzle his hand gently, though she was prepared to dart away should he try to grab her.
She then stood a little ways off... Closed her mismatched eyes and began the shifting process. She slowly took the form of a pretty young girl of fourteen. Long red hair cascaded down her back, and a grin remained on her face. "Oh good it worked..." She sighed slightly, but then glanced at Hiro, biting her lip a little as she awaited his response, trying to prepare an exscuse for what he had just saw. She desperately hoped she wouldn't need one and that he was a mutant too and would totally understand... So now it was a waiting game. She didn't hurry to fix it yet, she merely waited for his reaction.
