The night was a perfect day for her to just to go out and have a bit a found even for mutant with a physical mutation such as herself but she was hiding but wearing very large clothing which in an attempt to hide her tail and a hat over her ears. She then walked towards a cafe and smiled and walked counter to order something. The person at the counter told her "..you know hon we haven't had many customers because what has happened " Kathy looked up towards man for second and she nodded and tried to talk normal but she spoke slowly with a few third person "...i......know me isn't afraid " the man just looked at her and nodded little . He actually though she was bit strange for not being scared with all that has happened"..ok what would like " Kathy answered the man with a smiled "..a ice cream soda please ..." The man nodded little bit and give her order and she payed for it. He didn't even ask about her strange clothes after she had payed for her drink and she walked to table and sits down and sips it happily.

The young man wakes up from his slumber and looks up to the clock. "Only two hours of sleep. And I'm late for my new job. Crap. I might have to cut back time from training if I ever want to get some sleep." He sighs a bit and rubs his neck. He brushes his teeth and gets dressed for work. Then when he walk out from the apartment door he runs a few blocks and enters the cafe in a hurry.
The manager shouts, "Hey! why are you late?!"
The young man smiles and answers him. "I don't really have an excuse do I? But I'm here so I'll get to work."The manager scolds him and waves him off. He goes to the back and walks back out then looks at a girl who is strangely dressed and has already been help. But his curiously got the better of him. So he walked over to her, a note pad and pen in hand. "Hey there. Would you like anything tonight?" He asked in a friendly tone.

Kathy looked up towards man who addressed her and smiled softly. She then talks again in a quiet voice . She wasn't actually too hungry as she looked menus for second " me will just have same shrimp please ..." she didn't even notice she was speaking like that. But its the way she is used to talking she is really working on talking the right way.

He keeps his face as friendly as he could so he doesn't offend her. But in the back of his mind. He was thinking. 'She talks in 3rd person....But hey everyone is different. But does everyone talk like this?' He wasn't sure since the languge was new to him as well. Her way of speaking went with how she dressed but he wasn't going to go into that much, yet. "Alright shrimp it is!" He said with his signature smile and walks off.
15 minutes later
He comes out with a plate of shrimp and a cup of soda. "The soda is on me. Since it took so long for the shrimp. I am sorry for the wait." He looked her over and curiousity overwhelmed him once more. "I don't mean to be rude. Or judgemental. But well why are you dress like that?" He waited for her answer.

She nodded and then smiled and as she sits there and waited for food to come. she was actually pretty patent when it came for her food. She then looked towards him happily as he brought her food" its ok me don't mind " she then started to eat and then looked up confused at his question about her clothing. She actually expected this question because she does get strange looks from some people "...um ......Me just like to dress this way" she tries to look truthful because she didn't want him to see how she really looks under all those clothes.

"Oh I see." He said in a somewhat cold tone, feeling she was hiding something. He hated that feelings, though he hated being nosy as well. "Oh! It's good to have one own sense of fashion!" He said his voice was gentle and sincere. Thinking she was a child by the size of her continue to make conversation with her. "Well uh, where are your mom and dad? You shouldn't be here by yourself after all this place can get really dangerous at night."

Kathy had on of her shrimp in her hands and she looked towards him. She the smiled at him saying what she is wearing is her sense of fastion. " Yep me does ...." She then frowned as he just judged her age by her age which some people usually do when she was on the street. The man had asked about her mother and father " Sir ...me is Sixteen and as for my mother and father..well i don't want to talk about it " She then stared towards him with a blank look on her face.

She gave him a blank look and he quickly return the favor by giving her a blank look as well. 'Holy Shitake Mushrooms!' He thought to himself. And continued before she could think he was rude. "Like I said young lady. These streets are dangerous for a lady, especially of your age." He said smoothly. "Tough deal with parents huh?" He said walking to the next table and cleaning it. "Iwon't make you say any thing sweetheart. So how are you doing huh?"
