Xavier rolled himself out of the front door, he wanted to see the sun...so far he'd been inside so he'd seen it through the imfirmary windows. It was the first time he'd been allowed out since his accident...if you could call it that. He felt it was interesting that he called his attack an accident, perhaps he hoped that Erik could be redeemed...though in his heart he knew he could never allow the man to teach at the school again.
The Doctos had told him that he was paralysed from the waist down...he had noticed but hearing it from a Doctor some how made it real, he had to ajust to his new life though...for the Children's sake more then anything, he had to be strong for them. Luckily for a building to be considered a school it needed access for the handicapped and so he was able to still live in teh mansion. Letting out a breath he wondered what he would do now...

Inside, Ororo was still pissed about what Magneto had done to the professor. She was so disgusted with him that she didn't even want to refer to him by his real name, outwardly or in her thoughts. To her he was now nothing more than a piece of garbage that needed to be dealt with for his crimes against the school and humanity. During Xavier's stay in the infirmary, she was left to looks over the school and take on his usual duties. It was hard work and she didn't envy the professor one bit, he indeed had his work cut out for him. Running a school was hard business.
It was good to finally see Xavier out and about again, the place just wasn't the same without him. Ororo was thankfully that he had only been partially paralyzed instead of being killed by the vicious attack. A minute or so after he exited the school she joined him. She always did love being out in the sunlight, basking in it's lovely rays. Ororo placed a hand on his shoulder as she stood beside him. "So how are you doing today Charles? I'm so glad to see you out of that infirmary."

Charles felt the pressence of Ororo's mind approach from behind. Each mind had an individual signiture to recognise and that was what Cerebro was about, identifying the mutants in the sea of minds around the world. He'd been visited a few times in hospital, mainly by staff members and it was comforting to think that the school was more of a family then it was a job, that's what made it worth doing.
When she placed a hand of his shoulder he looked up and smiled, as if he wasn't aware of her pressence. Everyone had been so supportive about his new situation...it was what made him want to continue his work. "Thank you Ororo, I don't think Icould've laid in bed much longer. We have work to do here. Thank you for handling my duties. You did a wonderful job of keeping the school calm during this crisis, and I want you to know I appreciate it both professionally and personally"

"It was no problem at all Charles. I will always be here for you when you need me the most. The students, aswell as I, were quite upset with what Magneto did to you. I have to admit that part of me wanted to hunt him down and make him pay for his actions. And it still does. But violence only leads to more violence." Ororo began to think back to the moment when she saw Charles' body hurling through the window, landing right in front of her. Although it went against everything the man taught her, she was going to do something about Magneto the next time he showed his face.

Xavier smiled up to Storm, she was one of the best members of staff he had and if anything were to happen to him...well he'd be proud to think someone like her would take over his position at the school. His smile disappeared when she talked about hunting down Magneto...he'd been out for a long while after his friend's attack but he learnt what he had done to those US sailors but he still hoped he could be reached and rehabilitated.
The government would obviously want his head on a silver plate to deliver to the blood thirsty public...but Charles knew the death of Erik Leshnerr by the American government would not only give mutants a martyr to rally behind but it would increase the attacks from humans on mutants and possibly spark a second American Civil war, perhaps the first war on Earth between two seperate species "Yes...Erik, we need to discuss what we are to do with him. Contary to what many may believe I think there is still good in him and I'm sure we'll see it again before the end...but I think a meeting should be called so we can at least discuss all of our options"

"I'm not entirely sure I agree with that, Charles. The man killed thousands of innocents and partially crippled you. No one with a heart would do these things, and for what reason? To prove that mutants are better than humans?" Ororo crossed her arms and looked to the sky to think for a moment. It was hard to believe that a murderous person like Magneto had any good in him, but maybe he did. "But you know better than us all and I trust your judgement, Charles. A discussion of options would be nice. I will go along with whatever is required."
