Wearing jeans, boots, a "Motor-head" teeshirt, and an odd metal looking red skull cap, a giant of man reaches out and opens the gate. It was some where past the noon hour, and the look on his face showed he couldn't quite believe he was here. Looking around he wondered how many times he would want to kill people, or hurt others. Yet, he needed to find a center, a place that was both Cain and the beast that he is, the human Juggernaut. He couldn't think of a better place than Xavier's, only if they didn't go all gung ho and tried to attack him, he would have to remember his time in Avalon to help him keep his cool. Part of him was shocked by the way things had played out lately, another part of him almost wanted to laugh at it. Either way he still held the power of the Ruby within him. So why not release it towards the bad guys for a change of pace.
Looking around he wasn't surprised that the grounds were almost deserted, but he knew that the security system would have picked him up. He really hope he didn't damage anything when he just yanked the gate open, dang he was going to have to really watch his step around here. Putting one foot in front of the other was something he was used to doing, but for a completely different reason. Instead of moving to destroy his step brother's dream, he found himself in a position to actually try and walk that path. If he could handle it he hoped to forge a relationship that jealousy and envy barred him from as a child. Boy, Avalon really had a way of kinda changing a guy. He wasn't sure who would come out to great him, but he was expecting combat gear when they did. He wouldn't think if; hell, with his past he couldn't blame them if they came out all guns blazing.
He never really picked up speed as he moved, slinging a bag over his shoulder he made his way slowly up the walk and was just enjoying the view. Hell, he even stopped and knelt down and smelled a few of the flowers that he passed by. Right about now he could really go for a drink, but he doubted if he should in case he was accepted, didn't need to go, and set a bad example for the kiddies. As he made his way closer he heard the doors up front opening quickly, heard the rapid sound of feet hurriedly approaching him, but so far no blast of red beams, lightning or any other long range attack he could think of. It took a force of will not to summon up his armor or attach his helmet, it took a huge force of will not to ready for battle. Yet when he could make out distant shapes of bodies moving toward him he did something he swore he would never do, he opened himself up the worst way possible for himself. When he knew they could see him, he reached up and pulled off the metal skull cap and his red hair came into view for the first time. Tucking the cap into his bag he turned back to the people coming toward him. Juggernaut....no Cain Marko took a deep breath and let it out slowly. Well, here it goes. Raising up a single hand he waved it with the index and middle finger side by side. "Hello"

At least her parents still loved her and they were going to send her stuff to her. What was hurting her so much right now was that she hadn't had one text from any of her so called friends. Oh sure she knew most of them were waiting for her to screw up to take her spot, it was par for the course. But still she could have died, she'd at least have checked up on them. Especially, Tina her best friend and biggest rival. Well now Tina was guaranteed to have the cheer squad so what did she really need Kelly for anyway. All of this was going through her head as she walked wit her parents out the door. She hugged them both and watched as they started to leave with promises of gift baskets and the like.
Both of her parents stopped when they saw the big man. For the first time ever she saw her parents be slightly rude. They nodded to him and then nearly ran for the gates. Kelly blinked her eyes and tried not to cry it wasn't like she'd never see them again, but all of this as a bit much. When they were out of sight she looked at the very very big man. Her head tilted all the way back otherwise she would be literally looking at his crotch. "Hello...." She wasn't just scared she was terrified, not only of how big this guy was, but everything that had happened since yesterday. "Please, don't step on me." At five feet even and this guy being like ten feet tall, at least that's what it felt like, she finally understood why the teacher told Shaq not to step on the children. He'd squish her like a bug and probably wouldn't even notice it.

Scratching his head he looks back up the walk way towards the door, and then back towards the gate. All he could see was a pair of dust trails. He looked back at the little girl, and then back up at the door. The big man had expected someone more like Rogue, Jean, Storm, and hell even Cyclops to meet him here possibly even his Step-Brother. Hell someone with a little seasoning, and what did he get? The Pom-Pom Brigade, oh how the mighty have fallen. There was a time that the Juggernaut on your doorstep and the whole school would come pouring out ready for a fight, and now all he merits is a chick that reminds him of a.. a.. a.. a tweener. He dropped his head a bit as he knelt down.
"Don't worry, I won't step on ya, name is Cain, Cain Marko." He looked around as he took a deep breath, and put on his best smile, he was trying not to scare the girl anymore than he probably already had, but he was really annoyed by how things turned out, maybe one wall. Maybe to pay them back for this he would take down one wall. Just one, okay maybe two if another one of the group showed up just to take out the frustration a bit. He looked up and down the walk again and sighed. "You the only one here Princess?"

Kelly watched as he knelt down, and she still had to keep her head tilted a bit. Unless he was sitting on the ground and she was at the top of stairs, she figured she'd always have to keep her head back. "Hello, Mr. Marko. I'm Kelly Wilson." He was being nice which for some reason seemed odd, but she wasn't going to question it. She didn't know him and was judging him purely by his size. It took all of her willpower not to step back when he smiled, at least she was pretty sure that was what he was trying to do. At least he wasn't going to step on her.
"There are others around somewhere, at least there were earlier. I'm not so sure about now. I just.... got here." Her head tilted when he called her Princess though and she had to smile at that. Her dad called her Princess, but then what daddy didn't call their little girl Princess? "Um, do you want to come in?" That was a silly question and she knew it, but it was also a polite question. Kelly had no idea what kind of things were going on in the mutant world and didn't even register he might be a bad guy.

He smiled again and chuckled, looking around, well at least it was a welcome. "Tell ya what Princess you show me in, and lets see if we can't wrestle up something to eat. I'm starvin." He chuckled as he stood up once more to his full height. He kinda felt bad for the girl, she was going to break her fool head if she kept leaning so far back just to talk to him. "Hey just to be safe how about you don't try looking at me when you talk to me. I'll understand since I'm dang near ten feet here." He smiled as he very softly patted her shoulder. He noticed how much bigger his hand was than her head, and became very gentle with her. Dang these kids were all like china dolls.
Moving towards the door he just picked her up and set her at the top of the stairs as he made his way up them. He didn't know manners very well, but she was so polite he figured it was the least he could do. "So you know where Chuckles is? Been awhile since I've seen my Step brother, and I have some things I need to discuss with him later on."

Food actually sounded good even if her stomach was still trying to revolt. She hadn't eaten anything since before the incident. That's what she was calling the disaster the other day. But she needed to eat, she just didn't know where the food was. "If you can find the food that would be great. I have no idea where it is." Maybe he can do the whole 'following his nose' thing. That would be awesome. "I would but that would be rude, and if I looked head on... Well yeah, that wouldn't be so good either. I'll be fine. Whoa, so I wasn't that fair off in my estimation. Ten feet tall and bullet proof?" She was just teasing because of the song, not really expecting it to be true.
The tiny blond braced herself and only nearly stumbled when he patted her back. Oh man, she was so going to need a spa day after this. A small squeak escaped when he picked her up and put her on the top step. Oh if only she had had someone as large and strong as him on the squad back home. She'd never would have worried about not getting caught. Again her head cranked back when he spoke. "Um... Who's Chuckles? I haven't really meant very many people and I don't think I met anyone by that name. He's not a clown is he? At least not one of the creepy ones?" Aw, he came to visit his step brother, that was so sweet.

He smiled again as he entered the building and was looking around. See if they hadn't changed the floor plan from the last time he wrecked the place the kitchen should be down this corridor. "I think it's been this way." He smiled and chuckled a bit at her comment, maybe he would have to set her straight, but then again other's probably would sooner rather than later. So it was alright if he let her think he was a nice guy right? "Damn near 10 feet tall, and yes bullet proof." He winked as he said the next part, "Bulletproof sober, but more so with a few shots of Jack down the gullet." He chuckled as he made a turn down a corridor and didn't recognize it, crap don't tell me they did change the floor plans. "Wrong way I think, maybe this other hall." He pointed to another hall and shook his head a slowly, it had been a bit since he was last here. Plus back then he was never invited over for dinner.
Thinking about it he smiled a bit as he looked over at Kelly. "Don't tell no one, but I call Xavier, Chuckles." He figured the rest of the X-Men would hate that nickname of his, and he was going to have to work on it. If he was going to fit in around here he was going to have to be careful and possibly even a bit nicer than he usually was.

Kelly followed him as her stomach finally decided to revolt in the opposite direction, and growled in its hugry frustration. When he said he really was bullet proof she stopped and just blinked at him. "Seriously?" This whole world was so new to her and she felt like such a tourist in a fantasy world. She realized she stopped and then jogged a bit to catch back up to him. The girl couldn't stop the giggle as they went the wrong way. "I think I need to invest in a GPS system for this place. It's so huge." She was never going to learn her way around here. Of that she was convinced.
"Oh, I kind of met him, I think. I don't really remember too much about the last day or so. But I think I might have met him." Everything was pretty much a blur from the time she heard the words 'Halt, mutant' on. At least until she woke up this morning at least. She didn't know anyone well enough to know she should probably be insulted by his nickname, but then family trumps students, right?

He looked down at her as she asked him if he was being serious, and a part of him felt bad cause she seemed so green to this life. "Yeah, I'm impervious to just about any known form of attack. Very few things actually get to me." He looked back at her and grinned. He knew she was thinking about him and Charles being family, and he knew he was going to have to set her straight sooner or later, but for now he would let it go. He just hoped it wouldn't bite him in the rear end later. "Ya this place is kinda big, and they have changed the floor plan from the last time I was here." He looked down another hall and grinned. "This looks right, maybe we are getting close."
Looking around every corner he kept half expecting to walk into one of the instructors, or other students. Boy, if they actually knew him it might get a bit dicey, he better keep this girl behind him if they decide to shoot first and ask questions later. "Hey Princess stay behind me, just to be safe." He winked to let her know he was partially joking.

Big blue eyes blinked up at him. "That is so cool." Maybe this whole mutant type thing wasn't nearly as bad as she thought. Ten feet tall and bullet proof? She never thought anything like that was possible. Her head turned to look down the hall as well and her stomach let out a loud growl. "I hope so. My tummy's being bipolar. First it doesn't want anything and now it's as bad as me wanting my dad's credit card." She looked down at her tummy and willed it to shut up. This was embarrassing.
It was really easy to stay behind him since he was so big anyway. "They said it was safe here, but OK." Kelly had no idea why he would think that someone would want to hurt them, but then he was big enough to sneeze her three states over, she wasn't going to argue.

Well, no time like the present actually. "Well you see you are. I might not be welcomed all too warmly is the problem. Ya see the last time I was here I was promisin to tear Chuckles a new one, or was that the school a new one? Can't remember been a while. I'm actually only been a good guy for a few weeks now so I'm doing that more for your protection than my own. Seeing you with me if they shoot first and realize you are here, I can stop it and you won't get hurt.
He headed down and stopped when he smelled something that smelt right. Stepping into the kitchens he was grinning. "Yep, found it" He hoped the girl continued to follow him, he kinda liked her company and didn't want her running from him screaming wolf. Boy things were really different from the last time he was here. "So what ya got a hankerin for?"

Her lips formed a small O when he explained the situation. Well this can't be good. The only thing that stopped her from running was he said he was now a good guy, and he was just trying to protect her. Now had he just said he had turned good she wouldn't have believed him, but keeping her behind him would protect her, but make it harder to keep her as a hostage. Should he really be a bad guy and was lying to her. Twisted though it was, that was the logic she applied to situation, and it made sense to her. Her logic was one of the many reasons people called her an airhead. "Well that makes sense, if you weren't so nice the first time around. But everyone deserves a second chance, unless of course you are a cheating, lying, dirty, rotten, banging the rival school's head cheerleader, limped dick ex boyfriend of mine. Then you don't deserve squat." Yeah, so that was still bugging her.
Food, she smelled the food and nearly fainted. What did she want? Oh wow... "Almost anything right now. I mean I don't do the whole salad, no dressing with half a squeeze of lemon. But I don't overblow my portions either. So whatever is available. I actually have a cast iron stomach, and a high guilt threshold. I can eat anything and not think it means I've lost my figure."

He nodded at her description of her Ex-Boyfriend, and liked her comment about second chances. He was about to reach for the fridge door, but stopped right at the last second. "Um, I don't feel right just raidin the fridge just yet, mind if ya do it?" He was feelin a bit akward just walking around and taking food out of the mouth of babes sorta speak. He went to the door and looked up and down the hall, dang if he could just find someone in charge he would get this whole thing over with. Hell right now he even would take Soldier Boy. Shaking his head he sighs softly as he looks back.
"I won't hurt ya, I'm trying to turn a new leaf. Now, I don't know if it will work, I've done some nasty things. Plus, my habits aren't the best in the world so I won't say I'm 100% good guy, but I'm not here to break anything or anyone. I actually just wanna talk to a few people and if I get accepted so be it. If not I'll take off the way I came and not bother them. I haven't been the best person to this school so I could understand.

Most girls would have been embarrassed about the outburst but she was only telling the truth. He really was all of that and so much worse. It wasn't even her rival/best friend, no he went to a different school! He's captain of the football team for crying out loud. Sometimes she wondered if that was an even worse betrayal. When he asked her to get the food she gave him a bit of a funny look but nodded. "I kind of feel the same way, but I guess I live here now so... What would like? Sandwich?"
"Wish I could be more of a help. But I just found out like, yesterday, that I was... was..." This was going to take some getting used to. "At least you trying to make up for it. Guess that's the best any of us can really do. Oh snap, I sound like my dad. I must be missing him already, usually I'm rolling my eyes when he says this stuff to me."

Looking out the door he calls over his shoulder, "Yeah Sandwiches are fine." He had to admit the kid sounded like a royal dick weed. But then again he wasn't going to judge just right off first impressions at least he was going to try not to. Turning around he smiled brightly again and laughed. "Smart man, oh and hun there is nothing wrong with ya just cause ya are a mutie. Trust me, there are a lot of good people that are mutie's and there are a lot of bad people that are mutie's.
Looking around he smiled brightly as he watched her make the sandwiches, well hell he was going to have to take care of her for now. At least until things work out how ever they were going to. He just hoped that he didn't end up having to break something around here again. It just wouldn't work for him. At least he didn't think it would. "Becareful, that knife looks pretty sharp"
