"Sorry, sorry. Just I love cheerleading. I mean it's not my total life but it's like, wow, I just love it." She was talking a mile a minute but was really trying to calm down. Oh she was so excited she was already trying to figure out what the school colors were and what the uniforms should look like. The girl perked up even more at the mentioning of Zac Efron. "Oh now that would just make all of my dreams come true." Kelly finally calmed down and gave him a hug.
Her attention turned to the new person who walked in. "Hi! Want a sandwich?" She started to pull the stuff out of the fridge all over again.

," she asked, debating whether or not to have one. " I reckon so! Been a bit since I last ate; what kinds we got?" Paige wasn't to terribly picky about food, so whatever was mentioned would be welcomed by the Southerner. Of course this took a few moments, and in those ticking seconds she decided to get back to something previously mentioned. " Cheerleadin' sounds mighty fun, we finally gettin' some sports action goin' on?"[/ul]

He chuckled a bit and nodded his head. "Once I get done talking with Chuckles I'm gonna try and start a Football program here. If that is the case well, I might be able to swing a cheerleading team. Heaven help me if we do though. You girls here would tempt a Saint to Sin." He smiled as he leaned back and thought about what Kelly had said earlier. He really did have to admit the girl was a real gem. One of those kinds that found the silver lining every where. So for him this was one hell of a day, cause it was usually the people like Kelly that he loved pounding the most.
Now Ms Guthrie seemed interested in doing the whole T&A thing for a football team, he was trying not to let the groan out. He was never a fan of cheerleaders growing up seeing them as an elitist group of girls and fairy's that it made him sick. But it was part of the tradition of the Football program, so he couldn't fight too hard against it. "Cross your fingers and pray for the best."

Kelly started making another large sandwich, then she made one more in case Mr. Cain was still hungry. As big as he was she wouldn't be surprised. When he started talking about cheer leaders and football she grinned and then winked at other girl. "He's just being nice. If he's a true football coach he will hate having cheer leaders around. I have yet to meet one that thought we had any use whatsoever." She stuck her tongue out at Cain to let him know she understood what him trying to get them a squad would cost him.
The girl handed both their plates and then hopped up onto the counter. She swung her legs back and forth and grinned at Paige. "Cheer leading will be fun, at least for us. Just don't insult it too much, I know you won't think it's a real sport, but it's important to those who do it." That last bit was directed towards Cain.

," she admitted with a playful smile. " I'm more'uh the tacklin' variety; I like poundin' some faces!" But if there was some kind of rule against girls playing with the boys, well, Paige viewed being a cheerleader as a means of getting 50 Yard seats.[/ul]

He took the second sandwich with a smile, and was already shaking his head when he heard Ms Guthrie's comment. "I apologize sweetie, but I'm a bit old school when it comes to my football. So yeah, there is a reason why I agree girls don't play football." He chuckled a bit as he shook his head slowly wondering how things would be going for a time period, but then he chuckled, "Now a Manager though is something every team needs, and I wouldn't mind one knowing a little bit about the game, that way I can worry about coaching the boys and not the Manager." He chuckled as he took a big bite out of the sandwich, yeah this is going to be a good day.

Kelly kind of made a bit of an ‘oops’ face when Paige started talking. ”Sorry, you said cheer leading sounded cool so I just thought that meant you’d want to be on the squad. Should we get one of course.” She hoped Paige hadn’t been offended. There were some girls that would have gone ballistic at being thought of as cheer leaders. Kelly of course could never figure out why. Oops she probably put her foot in it again, well par for the course when you are Kelly Wilson.
While Coach filled Paige in on what he was and wasn’t looking for Kelly busied herself with the cleaning of the kitchen. Or at least the mess she made. Paige’s sandwich was still on the counter and she wasn’t surprised to see Cain eat his second one. The girl was still fairly humming with the happiness only cheer leaders can possess at the thought of being on a new squad. When she finished cleaning up she hopped up onto the counter. ”This is going to be a good year after all, huh?”

," she said, nodding to show emphasis. If Cain wanted only boys to play, that was fine, and if Kelly could see Paige as a cheerleader, well, that was fine too. " I could be one'uh them there managers, Mr. Marko." Again with the slip of formality, but one which she quickly caught on to and corrected. " If you don't mind, Cain." By now Paige had picked up her sandwich, inspected it and proceeded to eat. " Mm, not bad.," she said, obviously with a mouthful. " And if this is any indication, the year should be better than good - it'll be awesome!"[/ul]

Cain rubbed his chin back and forth and thought about it for a minute. “How about this, how about we have the Cheer Squad put up tryouts. Then after that we can go from there, and I’m always looking for a good manager Paige and I don’t mind one bit. He watched Kelly clean up the mess and smiled thinking about it for a minute. “I do have a question either of you know where I can find a room to store my stuff in until I can talk to Chuckles?” He looked back and forth and bit down on his tongue. “Sorry I mean Professor Xavier.” He ground the heels of his hand into his eye’s he had to remember to stop calling him chuckles all the time.
Thinking about this year he shrugged a bit he could see it going both ways for him. “I’m glad you both are thinking so. I just hope things don’t back fire and blow up in our faces with all of this. So any clue who I should be looking for as a QB?”

Kelly nodded to the other girl and hopped back up onto the counter. When coach mentioned the cheer squad she nodded. ”We’d need an adult. A cheer coach.” Cain was the first person she’d truly met and doubted that he’d want to coach them. She listened to the two of them talk and then grinned when Paige liked the sandwich. ”Sweet my daddy makes them that way. I don’t know how to make them any other way. Glad you like it.” Kelly thought about it for a minute. ”Well I think there are staff rooms but I guess we could stick the stuff in my room until you knew where you were going and what you were doing.” The girl just shrugged it wasn’t like she was going to go through his stuff. "Don't know anybody yet, sorry Coach."['/color]

," she nodded to Kelly, to emphasis her remark. " This'n the best sandwich I've had in quite some time, I tell ya what." Cain needed some place to stay, he said. Hm, well, Paige was one of the original members of the X-Men and knew the Institute fairly well, maybe she could be of some help. " Well, there is some empty rooms 'round, considerin' the Professor 'tended this place to be big 'n all. Reckon you could use one'uh them, if Kelly prefers."[/ul]

"I rather not put my stuff in any student's room Princess. Might give the wrong impression, but thanks for the offer." Hearing about the staff rooms he nods his head as he chuckles. "Just point me in the direction ladies and I'll go stow my stuff, then I have to find my brother. We got some talking to do." He wondered what was going to happen when he met up with Charles. Oh well, what happens, happens. Looking over he thought about it for a minute and chuckled. "Thank you both you've been a big help. I'll remember both your names when I talk to my brother. Let him know what nice students he's got." He thought that is what a nice guy would say and so decided to stick with that.

Kelly grinned over at Paige. "He'll be thrilled they were such a hit." She thought about it and nodded. "Paige is right there are some rooms and you are probably right. I was just offering since I was too new here to really know." She looked over toward Paige and winks. "I think coach has hit his quota of dealing with cute blondes." Her tone was teasing and the smile on her face proved it. She hopped off the counter and looked over at Paige. "You know the mansion better than I do. Especially since this is only my first day, so would you do the honors? We'll protect Coach as we make our way through. No one would dare cross to cute blondes." Blue eyes sparkled as she made that comment and waited to see if they were going to go.

," she chirped back. " But who'n can blame 'im? We yella-heads have more fun, so the sayin' goes, right?" Indeed so, though honestly Paige said that to get over the other blond stereotype, the one not worth mentioning here. " I guess'n we go up these here stairs an'... well, see what'n we can find!," she nodded before finishing the sandwich, and sucking on her fingers to get any crumbs off. Because blond protectors didn't need to have dirty fingers, right? They needed to be spotless, or it looked bad on them. " Considerin' the blond boom as I call it, coach'll probably get sick'uh us 'fore too long." Indeed a possibility, considering the overabundance of blonds in the world, especially between the Hellions and X-Men. It was almost sickening, but hey, what could you do? Suck it up and move on, which Paige was already doing as she motioned for the two to follow her.[/ul]

Motioning for Princess to step out of the kitchen first he shook his head. Where the hell were girls built like this when he was this age? This was really unfair and he could spend a month cussing out the fate for doing this to him. He made sure not to glance at them too much as he walked behind them thinking about other things like how he was going to put together a football team out of what was available. Looking around he sighed softly thinking about things like that to keep his mind off the proverbial sin factory this school of his brother's turned into. He was going to have to have a talk with his brother about that. Jokingly he was kinda suspect about his brother's motives right now. Shaking his big head he chuckled, and didn't mean to say this out loud. "These girls bring a whole new meaning to Charlie's Angels."
