Morphia strode into Genosha on foot, she was a master of the back entrances these days. "What a dump." she said to her self as she walked into the city and looked around. "You disappear for a few weeks and they let the place fall apart." That wasn't the fact, but she felt better venting to her self that she'd let her self fall off the map for a while. She really needed to learn to stay away from her old employer.
Walking into one of the few bars Morphia sat down at the bar and motioned for the bar tender. "Jagermeister, straight up."

," she smirked. Obviously not in tune with the woman's emotions, Polaris could only ask, feigning concern. " Or unable to cope with defeat? I hear those X-Men and Hellions were quite a handful, for everyone else." Lorna Lehnsherr could rest easy, for unlike the rest of the Brotherhood, she'd came and conquered. The X-Men and Hellions would know her name, and fear it. Polaris, Mistress of Magnetism, was alive and well.[/ul]

Morphia looked over her shoulder at the green haired woman as she entered and then spoke to her. "Can't really say I care about the Xmen." The morphine touched woman turned around at the bar and smirked. "The Hellions aren't my cup of tea either." The asian woman flipped her bangs off of her fore head and smirked. "And how goes your conquest of the thrown?"
Rumors were starting to spread that Polaris was going for the thrown, not that Morphia cared she wasn't loyal to a person but the cause of Mutant rights and perhaps even a little supremacy.

," she asked, rather confident of the answer. " The only difference I see is their personal investment. The X-Men do it for everyone, while the Hellions do it for people like them. We, the Brotherhood, do it for those who agree with us, and happen to be of the mutant variety." Nobody could really argue that, since Xavier did want co-existence, while Frost looked out for those who benefited her. Magneto on the other hand, used anyone to achieve his own utopia, and if you happened to survive, and agreed, you would be able to mightily indulge in paradise. Ah, rumors. How lovely, and mundanely stupid. It didn't take a rocket scientist to create one, or spread a rumor. No, it just took some emotional and ignorant issues. These disturbed populations spoke of the Mistress of Magnetism, and a supposed rise to eventual power via usurpation. Too bad Lorna wasn't psychic, she'd have been able to stop such talk dead in it's tracks, so she'd have to respond to Morphia's remarks, carefully. " You believe such fabrication? Hm, hm, hm. Genosha has become quite the breeding ground for gossip, if I may say so. Pitiful really, if you think about it. A nation built upon pride and hope, so easily fractured by a few slanders."[/ul]

"What can I say." Morphia said reclining on the bar. "People talk." Polaris wasn't some one Morphia had ever connected with, she'd never really ever had a chance too. When Morphia wasn't stalking around behind Polaris' father, Magneto, she was out doing her own thing, recruiting people or just causing havoc for the base lines who got in the way of Magneto's plots.

" Polaris didn't mind really, what could they do? She was practically a princess, the eldest, and arguably the most powerful. Sure Wanda could be said to be stronger, but in terms of experience and precision, several would award the edge point to the green-haired vixen. How fitting, but not the time to dwell on such facts. No, Lorna had company and, so far, it wasn't too bad. " Tell me, do you still intend to fight for my father?," she asked, curious as to what this woman's answer would be, and how it could potentially reflect their standing. " Those same talkers, they've been discussing multiple boats sailing away from Genosha, returning home to live their lives in hiding. Cowards really, but stealthy. Do you know of any escape attempts?"[/ul]

"I'm here for the long haul." Morphia said cutting her eyes at the green haired woman. THe bartender poured her a drink and Morphia motioned for him to pour another for Polaris. "Until mutants no longer have to hide I'm a citizen of Genosha, and a member of her grand army." Morphia tipped her glass and then took a sip. "No matter whose running the show, I'm fighting." The asian woman flipped her hair off her shoulder with a gloved hand and then took another sip of the alcoholic beverage.

was certainly unexpected to hear. Morphia would fight for Genosha - Magneto or not - until the end, no matter how bitter or sweet. Yes, this was definitely of interest to Lorna, but she was quick to repress any facial expression. No sense being weeded out now, and besides, she had a rough reputation to upkeep. " Your mission, in America. Do you feel it was justified?" Point blank question... Best take the drink now. And she did, though with her mutant abilities. In just a few moments Lorna's glass was hovering, encircling Morphia, as she made it continue doing so. " Notice anything out of the ordinary?," she asked, taking a seat one down from the Asian. " Perhaps see anything you're interested in." It sounded strange, but surely the other woman noticed Polaris lifting a glass - not metal - cup.[/ul]

The question she asked made Morphia wonder about which side Polaris really was on. "Of course it was justified, they attacked us first, remember?" The morphine induced woman said mildly. These talks of politics in Genosha were about like the mindless chit chat of sports in America or Britain.
When the glass began it's orbit around her Morphia raised an eye brow towards the glass. "That's new." She said calmly raising her own glass to her lips for a moment then drank. "What'd you have to do to get those sort of gifts?"

," she admitted, but in a tone that oozed sarcasm. It had a tint of wickedness to it, so who knew how true that was. " You would be amazed to know what your own powers are capable of, if pushed." This was true, and because of it Lorna had never failed a mission, including that make-or-break one in America weeks ago. " But being the most dedicated to improvement is quite... dull, I'm always looking for company."[/ul]

Morphia looked down at the shorter woman bit the corner of her lip. She was insanely curious about pushing her powers to a new place, perhaps being able to control them a bit.
"Company?" She pressed the most resent statement first. "What do you mean by that?" The asian woman looked down at her gloved hand imagining what it would be like to actually touch some one with out worry of putting them in a coma.

," she said suddenly, extending her right hand, ungloved, towards Morphia. " You can be a master of your powers, not a slave." Waiting to see what the Asian would do, Polaris watched. It always amused her to see others react, they tended to entertain her like a television show did the masses. Unfortunately for the tube, Lorna liked to live her life, not waste it.[/ul]

Morphia looked the ungloved hand over. "Listen kid I really don't want to be responsible to your old man if you go into a coma." None the less Morphia paced one of her own gloved hands in Lorna's figuring that would be warning enough.
The mutant woman wondered how Magneto could have sired such strong willed adeptly powered children, and who would want to sire them with an old man like him. She never did hear much about his wife- or girlfriend- or who ever the three's mother was.

," she said, taking Morphia's hand, studying it for just a moment. Finally, Polaris made a second request. " Your glove, take it off. I'd like to show you something, something that may interest you." That said, Lorna waited to see what the other woman would do. On the topic of mother Lehnsherr, she was a woman that the children hardly knew. She was in their life for so little, then vanished without a trace, that the trio tended to, at times, forget she ever existed. However, a few misplaced dreams at night could change that, but lately Polaris was sleeping soundly and well. Perhaps her demons were being conquered, or they were waiting to launch an all-out assault on her willpower in the coming days.[/ul]

Morphia raised an eye brow as she returned her hand to her self, what was this woman trying to prove? Was she immune to the morphine like touch? she pulled the fingers of her glove one at a time until they loosed themselves from their tight grip and then she removed the palm of the glove exposing her pale flesh. Her hands were warm, they were always warm in the gloves.
Morphia returned her hand to Polaris. "Don't say I didn't warn ya." She informed her red and black lips pursing together in an expectant look.
