Solaris nodded. "We have a long rainy season, almost every winter." She brushed the hair behind her ear. "So, what is there to do around here any way?" Emily asked, looking over at Scott. He seemed to be a nice guy, probably fun to hang out with. She also figured her dad's generation would be complete squares.

Cyclops shrugged a little in responce to her question, they kinda did lot's of things "Well depends...we do lots of stuff, we try to get out when we can but a lot of our friends here have physical mutations, so they can't really leave the mansion with out people freaking out. So a lot of the time we just hang out in the rec room. When a group of us do go out we tend to go in to the city"
He smiled before continuing "Not like we can get away with going out drinking so we tend to just go out and grab a bite to eat,

"Interesting." Emily said standing up and taking a walk around. "I haven't met to many people here, been working on my applications and all that technical stuff for the past week."
The girl took a walk around Scott, he wasn't bad looking, a tad young and a tad nerdy, but she was sure she'd seen him before, she just couldn't remember where. "Want to introduce me to some of the others?"

Scott nodded to her, the first week was a bit of a drag. So much paperwork and stuff to get through, he remembered it with a shudder, as if he wasn't convfused and messed up enough that day.
He watched her as she walked around him, it was a little strange as it felt like she was judging him a little bit, kind of like it was some sort of weird dog show. Then she asked him if he could introduce him to some of the others. So he nodded, "Sure...but I'm not sure where everyone is, we can go walk about and see who we run in to though"

Emily smiled gently at him offering him a hand to help him up. "Sure, lets take a walk, I'm interested to meet every one."
The girl put one hand on her hip, trying not to use a masculine pose, back when she was i track and field she ended up using those types of poses in pictures a lot. Looking back on it she really looked silly doing that.

He nodded at her, wondering where exactly to take her. He supposed the biggest group of peoploe could be in the rec room...that tended to be where people hung out when not in class....well unless the weather was nice then they'd be out here or in the pool. He then decided it was more likely to be in the rec room. Turning to face the door he'd just come out of he said "We'll probably find people in the Rec Room....that's where everyone normally is when they're not studying and stuff"
