," she said, trying to figure out how to explain this. " If you do something you love and die, you were betrayed. If you do something new and die, you were careless. If you do nothing and die, you were already dead." Well, it made sense to her anyway...[/ul]

He looks at his watch. It was really late, but he wanted to stay and continue to talk her about all of this. It was was most, enlighting. And so he did. He words this time inspired his resolve and was making him some what involved in terms of life, or so to speak.
"You are deeply in tune with that of death." He stated as non-offensive as her could. He wondered if it had to do with her powers. "I know this is rude of me to ask you, miss Lilja. But what is your power?" He asked her curiously. She didn't need to answer if she didn't want too.

," she said, not so much to deny him a show, but because Lilija needed to show off her talents. Here, there was nothing to do that with, and telling Hiro what she did... it didn't have the same kick. " Why do you ask now?"[/ul]

He tilts his head a bit disappointed but in fact more glad she hadn't told him. This made him more curious about her. He covers half of his face with his hand, mainly around his mouth and let out a yawn. Not because he was tired or bored, just, he wanted to yawn. Yawning relaxed the body, well for him at least.
"To understand is all." He stated softly. "Your ideas and philosophy of death...It might be impacted with your power. At least that is the idea. Then again, I can be wrong. For my understanding of life isn't impacted by my powers." He raises his free and angles it in the air. He then raises his thumb and points out his index finger so it looks like a gun. "Bang..." He whispers softly enough for only her to hear. A long bolt flew into the dark sky. After the lightning dissipated he lowers his hand and places it under his head, with his elbow sticking outward lazily.
"Such extreme aggressive force. A power for pure destruction, gifted to a person who hates fighting." He chuckles a bit before letting out a soft sigh. Wondering how she thought of him. She didn't like beating the bush so he spoke bluntly. "Upon meeting me, getting to know me..." He started as slowly closed his eyes. With her choice of words, he will determine whether or not he should follow his own ambitions or just stay put and keep his calm life. He wanted that, but if there are those who wished to be help he will never deny them.
"Do you think I have enough worth to fight a cause....I do not speak of fighting against Lord Magneto. But for my own ambitions under him." He couldn't reveal his complete plan to her, as of yet. Though she has spoke against Magneto it was in terms of her opinion. Meaning maybe her out look was false. If he can trust her though, he will eventually as her to join him. Then again, she didn't seem to be like him. Following a code that doesn't involve honor, loyalty or respect.
She was more like a mercenary than a loyal soldier. He debated in mind, and playing possible happening between the two and the battles to come. With her reject the offer at the top. The more the young man thought, the more ambitious and cunning he was becoming.

," she stated at his words of power, aggression, and not liking to fight. " For someone who claims they dislike fighting, they sure did pick the worst place to ally themselves to. This Brotherhood is always fighting, internally or with others." For Hiro to say something like that, especially after all this talking, it perplexed her enough to warrant a long-term memory implanted inside Lilija's head. Then... another question, one which Byakurai sought some sort of meaningful response to. Surprised that he would be asking her such a thing, Lilija thought for only a moment before deciding to answer. " Honestly Hiro... I have only known you for less than one hour, that is nominally insignificant when you compare the rest of today, this week, a month, or even all the years of your life.," she stated, taking a slight breath to resume. " To ask me such a question, it not my place to tell you. To entrust someone who has known you for less than sixty minutes with that, it is not something I can do. However..." Lilija knew he wanted something, and she would deliver. " ... I do think your morals will conflict with your obligations, maybe not now but someday. Eventually justifying each and every situation and order you receive will become tiresome, then improbable, and finally impossible." There.[/ul]

"The more you speak of the brotherhood in that manner. The more ironic it becomes." He said letting out a soft chuckle. This was true, she did know him for about an hour or so. And yet she knows more about him then most people.
"A hour is long enough to know a person, when the continuously talk about each other or what they like. If you think about it, compare to those who have known each others for years and have spoken many times for only a few minutes." He grins. Again she impresses him with her honest opinion and answer. A full smile broke out on his face.
"A well thought out answer. For knowing me so little, you, yourself just made your earlier statement false." He sighs and rolls out his shoulders, and stands up from the bench. "Nothing is impossible. One just needs to think things through...Carefully. Like a game of chess or shogi. A tactician, must foresee or predict every possible move. It's an ability that is hard to master. But when you master it, you are almost....Unbeatable."

" It was true, Lilija did not know Hiro. All this time they had spent was conversation with a little bit of philosophy, it wasn't enough to grant an answer to the question Hiro was asking of her. But surely he knew that, then again perhaps the Nippon did not. If so, then why... " Everything you've said, I only know that.," she responded, making sure he grasped everything she said. " For all I know, you could be lying to present a favorable impression. Until I've seen you at your best, as well as your worst, I cannot take your word as absolute truth. I expect the same from you about me, too." Now a games analogy, interesting choice she thought. But appropriate, at least to Lilija's mind. " You think too much, always trying to justify whatever you say In life, some things cannot be justified nor can they all be possible. If this were true, we'd not be discussing war and our place in it.," she said, already remembering when she told Hiro not to ramble so much, yet he was starting to slip again. " I'm not sure I grasp what you mean by my being false, though I can say this. I only answered with what you gave me, not what I know. I cannot do that."[/ul]

"You know enough, Lilja." He said casually. "Lie to present you with a favorable impression?" Her suspicions had a good stand point. After he asked her to a date and everything. Though, he just wanted to be nice to a 'stranger'. It has actually bee hours since they first encountered each other. Time flies by when one talk about their life outlook.
"I think I killed the impression when I asked to go eat with me." He said with a smile. "Although you do have a point, but why would I lie to you? I don't really have a reason to." He takes a short pause before continuing. "If I still wanted a date, I would of nudged it more. You aren't very high up in the ranks of the brotherhood. So I don't need to really suck up to you. And if I did lie or act different than I am and you found out. You would just won't trust me. And in the future we might work together and there is no trust. What do I gain? Nothing." He explained to have a valid point. Knowing it was in vain.
He tilts his head slightly and shrugs. He found out she was also stubborn, he felt like she was just going to shoot back a longer and probably a much more acceptable explanation. If she did, he was just let her win. The young man already got his answer from her. No need to heat up a potential conflict, he has seen two people from work go crazy from a 'friendly' debate. Last thing he wanted was people walking by seeing two people argueing about history, death, and how they really know each other. He pictured that in mind and chuckles a bit softly. And nor did he really want to be on her bad side, he didn't want to be on anyones bad side for matter. Too troublesome....
"All I wanted was a honest answer and I recieved it. I thank you."

," she said. " Just realize you cannot know anybody until you see them in a situation outside of their comfort zone. I don't know you, only what has been presented. You can be told all about a car, what speed it reaches, the manufacturer, the history, the special features, but until you drive that car yourself, you don't know it." In short, Hiro had only talked to her and shared some information. True or false, it wasn't enough to make a sound judgment on Byakurai. Hiro was only going to gain her favor by being himself, and being himself for quite some time. " Don't be so melodramatic, Hiro. Just give it time.," she said, slightly warning him to not be so damn adamant about being justified. After all, justification was the issue to begin with. If Hiro sought to avoid being on Lilija's bad side, he was starting to slip. But in doing so, she was able to see he had more to him, and for that she took note and respected him. " Remember, no rambling."[/ul]

He was right. She did as he predicted, without a fight he raises his hands and motioned her to slow down as a pun of her car talk.
"Alright, alright." He said with a small chuckle. "We don't know each other very well. But I do hope we get the time to soon." He gives her a smile. He rolled out his shoulder once more. And wondered why he was so tense, it could of been the work out from tonight. Oh well.
"Now, now. I was only saying. Lighten up a bit." He said teasing her a little. Trying a bit more playful than he usually is, mainly only lighten up the some what shady mood he felt. For some reason he felt that doing that might just back fire on him. If it does, a loss is a loss, if one fails the only thing they can try to do at that point is to, succeed.
"Can't promise you anything on that."

," she said, almost feeling like a battle worn marine. " It's the same for everyone at first, and to think otherwise is to walk right into danger. Especially if that someone is manipulative or capable of killing you." Lilija wasn't too fond on elaborating further, mostly because there was no need. More importantly though, the truth rarely needed to be enhanced beyond a simple sentence. This was one of those times, Lilija hoped. " I'm not mad or anything.," Lilija informed him. " If I was, you'd know. But thanks for the concern anyway, and consider it my challenge to you, the no rambling thing."[/ul]

With her sentence, she sounded like a war-torn veteran of a huge war. Still those were words to hold onto in case he did come across a person like that. With this converstion he became weary of Magneto, though this doesn't mean he won't be loyal. Just a bit more cautious around him, he was so blind sighted by his 'romance' with Morphia and doing the right thing.
He just fell and need to be picked up again.
Though, he didn't feel that way. He believes that Magneto's cause was just, but was it right. The more he thought, the mroe of his so called 'strong resolve' be began to shake. Little did he know, a small battle began to rage in his heart. When will eventually lead to the cross way of path between good and evil. But for now, he was still a bit 'carefree'.
"It's good that you aren't mad. That is when I might run away." He said trying to joke. But he kind of felt awkward trying to open himself. Though it was the least he could do for her as a comrade. "A challenge?" He asked curiously. "What is the wager?"He stated, trying to be playful again. He hope she would play along, but if she wanted to walk away from him at this point. He wouldn't hold it against her.

," she said, referring back to her time in Iceland. " Though it has been a while since I've done anything with a boat." Lilija made a mental note to construct a sea vehicle at sometime, and to do it as soon as possible. No need letting such talent go to waste, right? And speaking of talent... " Wager?," she asked. " Just that you'll be a better person for it." Corpse had nowhere to go, she could be here all day.[/ul]

"In sailing huh? Yea you probably would win. I don't even know how to make a boat, let alone sail it." He said with a short and soft laugh. He wondered how Iceland was really like, with all this talk and referance of it. It makes a person think if one talks about it so often.
"Oh its been a while for you? Hm...You still would win as long as you have the just of it." He turned his head facing the man-made lake in the middle of the city. 'Humans' could make beauty if they really tried hard enough, though things are much more complicated than that.
He refrains from laughing when she didn't play along. "That's fair."

," she admitted, finding one of the flaws in the mutant sanctuary. It had plenty of coastline but nothing worth sailing around, which was odd since Iceland shouldn't even come close in competing with other nations for perks. " Hiro, how long have you been here, away from Genosha?," she suddenly asked, figuring the man had a reason for not being under Magneto's presence. " And did you come of your own accord, or somebody else's?" Lilija was here because of Polaris, who despite what others said, could be quite kind and compassionate. People just couldn't see the final result she had, though Lilija did but still was unsure of if it was possible to achieve. However it was intriguing, and well organized, too. Maybe one day Hiro would be in on it, that'd be interesting.[/ul]
